"This visit was my second time coming to Costa Rica Restaurant. I've ordered Fish Taco plate for dinner and margarita on the rocks for drink. The fish tacos were big and filling. The margarita was stiff, just the way I like it. It was great experience. I'll be back for karaoke next time."

"El Patio is a pan-Latin American restaurant that serves a huge variety of foods. Their menu is enormous and they have variations from various countries down south. The setting is authentic and although the menus are in English, the staff here try to encourage you to use a little Spanish when you can which is great. Their portions are huge, prices are good for the size and the quality of food is fantastic. They have a lot of seating inside and it's kind of a hole in the wall location, so parking is in the back. It can get crowded weekday nights though, so either go earlier or later for dinner."

"As a Canadian, one thing we can't get is good Mexican unless we cross the border into the United States. I was looking for a location I hadn't been yet and came across El Rey Latino restaurant. I was with my wife and one of my daughters and when we entered were greeted by very friendly staff. We were the only ones in the restaurant so were a little apprehensive but soon discovered that they were fairly new. The menu had many options from the various Latino countries. The food was delicious. It was well presented and the portions were generous. The complimentary chips salsa was very tasty. And at $1.25 a bottle for the drinks, an excellent value. I highly recommend this place. I'll certainly come back again."

"Jorge and his family own this restaurant and the moment you walk in, you get the feeling of entering a home that is warm and welcoming. The food is fresh, the taste is impeccable and if you have not tried their fried plantains, you are missing out. The roast chicken tasted so good that my son did not want to share it with my husband so I had to order more, the vegetarian tacos were yummy, if you have a few moments, do walk around and look at all the photos on their walls, it takes you back to the real Costa Rica. This family owned spot is a must go for anyone who loves good food. The people are so down to earth and kind which is the icing on the cake. Too bad, I was so busy enjoying the food that I forgot to take pictures but I will Next week."

"Amazing food! Fish tacos are delicious, I love the tuna. The chicken and suasage paella is the best in the world. Their fusion menu is incredible. Great people too! Kids always love it. Fresh and consistently awesome."

200 meters south-east from soccer field, Provincia de Guanacaste, Potrero, Costa Rica
"Super nice staff, great location, awesome food. Really great value for your money! We went for lunch and back for dinner again the next night! Tuna tartare was perfect. The mix with mango was just so scrumptious! The breading on the fish and chips was so nice and light, it didn't feel at all stodgy like a lot of other battered fish! The surf and turf was huuuuge. Wear some stretchy pants if you're going to try and finish it!!"

"Great stop while passing through Bagaces. Good prices and plenty of space. My husband and I got the lunch buffet. We don't speak fluent Spanish so didn't understand initially that we could have gotten even more food on our plate. The food was delicious - rice, beans, chicken, fried vegetables, and more. Bathrooms were nice too. Wonderful memory."

Montezuma Beach, Puntarenas Province, Santa Fe, Costa Rica
"I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best soda I've eaten at in Costa Rica. The service is amazing and the owner Alex is so kind and helpful. The food and drinks were so good that we basically came back to eat here every day we were in Montezuma. We did not have a single sub-par meal. Each one exceeded our expectations. They are also veggie-friendly so there are many options to choose from. Tip: try their banana bread with vanilla ice cream if they have it. I almost cried."

In Front of Park Main Street, Provincia de Puntarenas, Montezuma, 60111, Costa Rica
"The ambiance of this place alone is worth stopping for - especially the patio. But the food is another reason to make it a destination. There were four of us, and we all loved our meal. Cosadas are excellent - we had chicken and fish. 😋 Another ordered the Thai style chicken dish and it was tasty with a bite. Greatly enjoyed a well-made gin tonic. Saw a very large iguana - Pepe - in the tree above the patio fountain. He was well-mannered. Wait staff was very friendly with a great sense of humor."
