This bakery feels out of place in New York City, in a lovely way. It’s very personal, like something you’d see in a small town, where someone sells baked items out of their home. At the same time, the experience was very professional from start to finish, from the ordering experience on the website to the nice pastry box the cookies came in. I got the macadamia nut cookies and they were fantastic. Generous amounts of white chocolate and macadamia nuts, and the cookies here are made to order so they smelled incredible, literally a few minutes out of the oven. I’d order from here again, I’m curious about a few of their other items. Seems like this would also be a nice gift for a lover of baked goods.

We were looking for a baker to make some very special cookies for our sister's baby shower - and no one could have catered this event other than Sim. Her attention to detail on every single cookie, knack for the most delicate yet beautiful designs, and ability to make sweet treats is unparalleled. Not only were her vanilla almond cookies an absolute sight to admire, they were also absolutely delicious!!! We simply loved them. On top of everything, Sim went above and beyond to make the most intricate cupcake toppers. We were truly blown away and in awe when we received our shipment :) The amount of love that Sim puts into EACH and every one of her cookies, cakes, and cupcakes shines through. Thank you for making our family's event so special, Cococasa Kitchen!!! Incredibly professional, so tasty, and an absolute pleasure to work with on every level - you deliver the best quality treats in New York. Loved every bite!

You walk in and are SLAMMED with the smell of cookies. You've been captured & there's no way you're walking away with no cookies. Then you get the walk through of the flavors and you realize you're in trouble and headed for a sugar rush. But really these cookies are warm, delicious, fun and over-the-top :) Worth stopping by and trying. My fav was the churro-nutella one, but the classic chocolate chip was good too!

People are great and the Italian subs are worth it

Ordered some cookies and cake for an office party. The pistachio cardamom was one of the best gluten free cakes I've had and the salted caramel was AMAZING. Grabbed a latte when I went to pick up and the guy working there was super sweet and helpful. Excellent all around!!

After reading lots of reviews, I went to Té Company with high expectations and I was not disappointed. The entire experience was delightful from start to finish. I selected a tasting of three oolong teas and selected the pineapple linzer for my first food pairing. The linzer was everything I hoped it would be after reading glorious reviews about it. I wish I had bought some more to take home to my husband. I also had other wonderful foods seen in the pics I’ve included here. All delighted my palate. My server (I believe his name is Gordon) was very informative about the teas as well as which foods paired best with each. He then suggested a tea sampler package to take back to Boston. 5-star plus service! Thank you. I’ll definitely be back to Té Company.

It's a tall order when someone claims to be the best at anything but they make great cookies. While the bakery might be located on Stanton Street their brick and mortar location is here on the lower level of the Essex Street Market. The Kelp cookie was a nice combination of sweet & savory with a little umami mixed in. Is it the best? I leave the judgment to you.

Omg really good desserts and chocolates! Everything is vegan! It is mostly a chocolate shop with a small variety of cakes, cookies, macaroons, and ice cream (seasonal). We bought: pumpkin cupcakes, cinnamon crumb cake, 6 macaroons, a chocolate bar, and box of chocolate covered caramels and a chocolate bar, and didn't even come close to scratching the surface of the variety of items. Everything was equally delicious and see many future trips to try 1 of everything!

Excellent service. Delivery came exactly on time, cravings cupcakes were all very delicious and made my girlfriend extremely happy for her birthday! Highly recommend, will use again.

After visiting the NBC studio, we wanted to have a treat and we were delighted to find this cookie branch nearby. It’s located inside the concourse. It’s one of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had. It’s crispy on the outside and chewy with melted chocolate chips inside. It isn’t too sweet and the taste is just right. YUMMY!!!

I've seen Chip City online for a long time. Finally just happened to walk by one and stepped in to grab a few to try. They are thick like Levain and come in many more flavors that rotate daily. (See their website for the flavors of the day.) May be slightly bigger than Levain IMHO. Got a chocolate chip, PB & Jelly, and a Hot Fudge Sundae. Each cookie was $4. except for the hot fudge, which was $6. splurge. Very good cookies overall. Slightly hard exterior and chewy interior. The HFS was their chocolate chip cookie with hot fudge and sprinkles on top of it. I would go back when in the mood for a thick, chewy cookie.

Like cookies? Get here now! Wow, I a expecting overpriced big city bland cookies....uh not at all. These are very big, with creative mix-ins, and most importantly fresh (new flavors came out while we were in line at 7pm) and delicious. These were some of the tastiest cookies we have ever had. I know $3. may seem expensive but these are large, and unique, and in downtown NYC where a slice of cake is $9.. You can buy a 6-pack for $. Strong, fresh and reasonable priced coffee too (large $3). Highly recommended.

I just realized that a lot of people reviewed Culture Espresso’s chocolate cookies. Yeah, everyone one was right. I tried it and the cookie was amazing. Large chocolate chip cookie I shared with my wife, not too sweet and enough melted chips inside. Just perfect. I had an espresso which tasted really good. We’ll balanced sweetness with lingering aftertaste. The cappuccino was balanced as well milk to coffee ratio done right. I recommend their coffee and the amazing chocolate chip cookies.

Giant, hockey puck sized cookies that are fresh and delicious every day. This time, we had chocolate chip, s’mores, and chocolate peanut butter chip and all were perfection. The website lists the daily flavors but we have yet to be disappointed even when we’ve taken a chance on something new. The shop is adorable, clean, and neat, with seating for a small group. The packaging is fun and far from boring. Take a box of these impressive treats to your next gathering- you’ll be the host’s favorite for sure.

I always wanted to try this place out and I got lucky when I saw they were having a pop up somewhere. The worker selling the cookies was friendly! Cookies are way too beautiful to eat but I bought a few for myself and one for a friend! I tried a cookie and it’s delicious! Cookies are not hard, they taste fresh, and would so buy from them again! Love and definitely recommend!

These cookies are amazing, and the concept is executed perfectly! Always fresh, always tasty, and just the right amount of protein baked in. Add on prices that are affordable to someone who's trying to eat more than just 1, and you have one of the best spots for snacks in the neighborhood. Love the peanut butter cookies, the chocolate chip oat, and and the "breakfast." Could not recommend this place highly enough.
