The 10 Best Conveyor Belt Sushi Restaurants near me in San Francisco, California

Conveyor Belt Sushi Restaurants near me in San Francisco, California, US.

"What every family needs: an unpretentious spot for super-fresh sushi prepared expertly and promptly by friendly staff. Our family ordered takeout sushi, chicken teriyaki and tempura shrimp and veggies, and everything was top notch, at very non-SF prices! Grab a couple bottles of Moscato at TJ’s on the way back to your home or hotel, and you have an awesome meal. 30 minute street parking for takeout was abundant and easy."

"This is our favorite neighborhood sushi spot. We've been coming here for at least 12-15 years as the food & service are excellent: the house special roll is one of my favorites as well as their spicy white tuna, and don't even get me started on the unagi!! The boats are fun and a way to try something new as you can see what you're ordering, of course you can also order off the menu, highly recommend their Agedashi tofu bowl and gyozas. Say hello to Tiffany when you go by, she'll take excellent care of you."

"Amazing sushi quality, reminded me to tokyo restaurants, i really recommend this place if you love sushi, we ate a lot and we paid 85 after taxes which is good price for good sushi ...."

"Didn't have super high expectations coming through, but wanted to check if out because we do not have these around where I'm from. We were walking around on a lovely day and ended up here. We were there on a Saturday around 1pm. It wasn't super busy, but people were kind of trickling in once we were seated. Server was kind and explained how to order food on the screen. And if you needed additional service how to get their attention. We ordered a few different sashimi pieces/combo and nigiri. Wow. Each piece tasted wonderful. We didn't have a bad piece. We ordered exactly what we wanted and each piece got better. No fishy taste to the sushi whatsoever. We ordered salmon, bluefin tuna, sea urchin, scallops, and various sushi. We might have gone overboard, but we couldn't get enough! Would highly recommend checking this out if you're in the area! I hope your experience was as good as ours! We kind of enjoy just enjoying the food without having the hassle of someone coming to check on us from time to time. It was a little noisy in there, but that didn't bother us."

"Best sushi and sashimi in San Francisco! Seriously, the salmon melts like butter in your mouth. It's so delicious. The format is great, with tons of options passing you on the conveyor belt and you see it all being freshly prepared by the guys in the middle. The sushi comes by 3 pieces, which is better than getting a whole roll, because you can try out more different things. However, you can also order a roll from the menu if you like, but I've never done that. I definitely recommend this place. It is not expensive for the amazing quality. We spent 55$ inc tax&tip for 2 people. If you want a big meal, you might spend more, but this was perfect for us."

"Okay, let me start with telling you that I’m a sushi fanatic, have tried lots of different places and at least think I know my sushi !! If I was just writing a review based on the food, I’d give it a 3.5- 4 probably, but honestly the experience made it a 5 ! On top of that, being able to try out more rolls, since they come in 3-4 pieces is a plus for me. Overall everything tasted good, not top of the line but solid, and if you go with friends you can fight over who gets the silly prize ball. The staff were all super nice and attentive, the custom order on the belt was very fun and useful, and they had a decent Sake selection for a place inside the mall. If you don’t like waiting, or window shopping while your ticket is called, then do yourself a favor and use their App to save your place in line. For the price this place delivers a great experience."

"Was my first time at a sushi boat restaurant. It was a great experience and really good food. Also helped that they had a bathroom! Would definitely recommend."

"Had a delicious lunch here with my mom. The food was very well made and delicious, & the service friendly. We also thought the serving robot was really neat and that the tea cups with sushi on them were charming! We'll be back for sure."

"Service was solid. Sushi selection was fresh but I suggest using the iPad ordering option so that it's guaranteed to be fresher compared to the sushi that's on the conveyor belt. Shrimp tempura was pretty tasty as well."

"Legitimately one of the best hotpot I've ever had in the US! We were a large group, so we booked a private room and it was so nice! We went fancy and got lobsters and all sorts of other seafood. Everything came beautifully presented. Sauce bar had a good variety of ingredients. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. I'd definitely come back again!"

"Ikoi Sushi is a very small, cozy and unassuming sushi restaurant nestled at the end corner amongst a small strip mall. While it doesn't have much capacity inside, it definitely adds to the charm of the overall experience. This was my first visit for a small takeout dinner on a Friday night. Ordering over the phone was very easy, the staff member was very polite and helpful explaining which vegetarian options/ingredients were available for one person's order. Plus, I could tell they were busy, which we truly appreciate. There wasn't a long period of wait time. The food was especially memorable, and refined to most by comparison in this area. Everything was perfectly delicious our first time around so we decided to come back to dine inside another time. The rice itself has good texture and flavor (on some of the nigiri), great quality, flavorful, balanced, with fresh ingredients. Every single bite was memorable and delicious!"

"First time here and the experience was different and I like different. You start off by signing in on the tablet as you enter so they know how many within the party. We were a party of two, so waiting was like 2 minutes. We were seated at table 11 and the server gave us a quick intro on how to order and how to remove the plate from the revolving belt of dishes. Our drinks were delivered by a robot, which is awesome and nothing I've seen before. You do have to remove the drinks/straw/wasbi yourself though. Overall, the dishes were tasty, although I did not try the raw fishes"

"Amazing!! It is definitely pricey and you probably wouldn't come here everyday unless you had money to spend. But the sushi is extremely fresh, the service was great, and the setup is amazing. Will definitely come back again!! A definite must try."

"Delicious sushi 🍣 😋 😍 Super fresh & enjoyed every bite! Customer service was above expectations. The owner, she was the nicest & appreciative of our business. That made me feel good. Definitely another spot in my books 📚 👌 Had the see-through shrimp & spicy Hamachi roll... mmmmm delicious! They've got sake & beer but maybe another occasion. The grilled omelet was weird & tasted great in a surprising way; almost like dessert. Appreciate the sushi chefs & those who prepared our plates, thank you 🙏!"

"Haven't been here since the Pandemic. Food was still very good. One of the better sushi buffets around. FRI and Weekends... get there at 4:30 to sign in for 5pm opening!"

"Always a great experience going to these places. Every one of them has different prices and dishes and the staff is always so friendly and great. The little robots they have as well are cool and entertaining for sure. On and make sure to use their app to save a table before hand, we did our and it was 160 minutes ETA, but then it ended up only being like an hour and a half. Food as usual is super good! Prices are going up but that's everywhere unfortunately. See pictures of recipes"

"Great place to get some sushi. The staff is very nice. They are not stingy with their cuts of fish. It doesn't look like much going in but that belies the food within. While we were waiting to be seated we asked another customer if they come often and she said "oh, yes - all the time". That was all the assurance we needed. Highly recommended!"

"What a blast. Mostly automated ordering by way of a touch sensitive menu or just grab from the conveyor delivery system. Reasonably priced and decent quality food. A fun place for kids as well. The theme changes every other month. Will definitely go back."
