Delicious food and ready on time for pickup! I especially enjoyed the Sesame Tofu, the sauce is super good and the tofu’s texture is great. Wish I had the recipe because my tofu never comes out like this LOL ! My mom had the Chicken & Broccoli, and she liked it a lot. The veggie spring rolls were nice and crispy. Also just a heads up that the veggie dry pot is spicy (even at the regular level), so if you have a low tolerance, just be aware of that. Overall great lunch spot with friendly staff :)
Love this cart for rice noodle & fish balls! I’ve been eating her food ever since I was little. Her rice noodles is the best out of all the ones I had. It’s firm and soft. It’s not soggy. She’s cash only. She’s usually there in the morning till she runs out of food. If the weather is bad, she won’t be there. Here’s an update menu prices.
Let me tell you! This is the best Chinese restaurant you going to find in Manhattan ! Best food, great service, clean , very tasty!!! I recommend 5 star !!!! This the REAL NEW KAM LAI!!!
Absolutely love this place! All of the ingredients were so fresh!!! The man who made my poke bowl was so nice and that truly made the entire experience so enjoyable! He really should be teaching the rest of the city what good customer service is! I absolutely recommend coming here! I know I’ll be back.
The tripe and beef in chili oil was so good I ate two myself and the lamb chops were amazing. I think they were spiced with cumin. Kids liked the soup dumplings and the lo mein. The other adults enjoyed the chicken with broccoli and the scallion chicken. This restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood. I'll be back with a more courageous group next time.
Upper West Side desperately needed some good Chinese food so I’m super glad Simply Noodles opened shop. True to its name the menu is pretty simple, I have been twice and have tried 6 items on the menu. Everything has been great so far. Simple foods prepared properly. Service is good too, you can tell the owners really care.
I originally had the beef bulgogi bing here and it was a great value for the quality of the food (in NY at least). The “bing” is wonderfully crunchy, layered, and buttery. Think a flatter croissant. They include a good amount of meat inside too which is always appreciated. That was $8 The $6 classic bing with their chicken curry (they just say curry, I was pleasantly surprised to find chicken in it) is also a great value. They pair very well with each other. I came back because I was in the area and was definitely glad I did.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I was in search for authentic Chinese meats... Stumbled upon this place. Their pork with special sauce tastes just like how my parents make them!! Affordable and delicious!! 🥺😍🥰🤤⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ thank you for having me today!! 🙏
The soupiest and tastiest dumplings. We loved the wide selection of dumplings available there. Not just soup but pan-fried too. There is a live counter which is fun to watch if you are seated beside it. The owner is friendly and checks in frequently. Alcohol is available. Family-friendly but also ideal for a quick meal of dumplings and a drink should you need a quick lunch. Not sure if the space above is available but the ground floor is currently open.
We really enjoyed the special hot pot. On a cold winter day it was perfect. It came piping hot and instantly warmed us up. It had a variety of mushrooms, vegetables and vegan seafood/ meat. The size was huge too. My husband also has the scallop with fish option from the right immortals meal which was lovely. He can't consume refined sugar due to health reasons and the options here are mostly without sugar which is rare for Asian food. It felt like clean eating and felt rejuvenated. The ambiance was also relaxing and restaurant is very clean. Owner was passionate about healthy eating and checked on us during the meal. Highly recommend.
Well, this was delicious! Saw this place online and didn’t regret coming. We got fried pork and chive dumplings $5 for of them and bio buns. They were amazing!! Will totally come back. The place is small, but we were lucky enough to be able to dine in.
I ordered the vegan dumplings and the chinese cabbage. First time ordering from here and I will be a repeat customer. The food was very tasty and the service was prompt. I ordered through grub hub and picked it up. Very friendly service.
I definitely recommend Pig Heaven! Delicious food, great customer service and great ambiance.. I’m a vegan and they do hav w delicious vegan options and from the looks of things… my no vegan friends love the ribs!
This place is so good! The prices are wonderful for what you get, and if you are dining in you get free noodle refills for your broth. The flavors are excellent. It would be nice if you could swap out some of the toppings for something else. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and will definitely visit again.
Hidden take-out gem in a Chinese food desert neighborhood. Sure it’s a hole in the wall but the guy at the window could not be sweeter or kinder, the food is cooked fresh to order in an open kitchen, and the prices can’t be beat. I had the chicken in garlic sauce combo, which included a crispy, not-oily pork egg roll, white meat chicken in a nicely-spiced garlic brown sauce with lots of crisp-tender fresh vegetables (broccoli, green pepper, onions etc) and a generous side of pork fried rice. All for under $, and everything was still piping hot when I got it home… and neither greasy nor overly salty. Definitely recommended.
The food here is really good! For four years I've had difficulty finding a good priced Chinese takeout that has flavor but I finally found one! Been here twice now and both times were great, and the service also gets two thumbs up.
Love this place for the lunch specials. Some of the best stuff are the szecuan dishes like mapo tofu, dried string beans, etc. The pork belly with with water chestnuts is a dinner favorite. The smoked duck fried rice is great too. One review said the food is microwaved, heck no. They're fast and well prepared. for a busy lunch. Good service always.
Me and my friends had a very good experience trying Zhen Wei Fang restaurant for the first time. Food was delicious and fresh! Service was great. Their interior design is very nice, so much lights... can’t explain with the words, you need to see it. We will be back! Highly recommend!
Great sushi spot for the money. The bento box which has Chicken Teriyaki, Rice, California roll, soup and salad for $. You can't beat that. The food is really good as well.
I’ve been going to this place for years. Between the price and the food I haven’t been disappointed.
