Childrens Book Stores near me in Harvey, Louisiana, US.

"I absolutely love this store for my diverse choices in usual board and card games and they never disappoint. Definitely the place to go not just for books to read but a place to sit, relax, drink an amazing cappuccino and read whatever you want. It's truly a place to unplug from the noise of the outside world and just escape into another world through literature"

"Such a cool bookstore and of course used to be Faulkners House. Sits back in Pirates Alley and should pop in and take a look. Huge selection of books and the man working there was very nice and very knowledgeable."

"Amazing selection of great books and friendly helpful staff. I like to get coffee here too since there's a Starbucks inside. Great place to sit down and relax for a good read or trying new media"

"One of my favorite bookstores ever! The owner is such a kind person, and while they don't buy every book you might bring (because of course they still have to make money), I find that the value of store credit that you receive for the books you do sell back to them is well worth it. They have a great selection of new and used books on the shelves, and you can even find some cute and nerdy little gifts for the book-reader in your life. I won't go to a Barnes & Noble again so long as I live near Blue Cypress Books!"

"I love stopping by here once in a while to check the large selection of books and magazines in stock. Staff is very professional and friendly. Staff is helpful with finding or ordering books. Store is bright and very clean. It's cool that it has a small cafe."

"Absolutely loved the atmosphere of this bookstore! The employees were so kind, the selections were great, they had a table with books that were just what i had visited for, (books to read for school), and they even have one of my other favorite places inside. STARBUCKS. I’m an artist, and an other thing that excited me and is encouraging me to visit again is the fact that they have sketchbooks, markers, colored pencils, just art supplies in general! It was overall a great experience, and I can’t wait to come again!"

"Awesome visit!!! I always enjoy this Barnes and Nobles!! It's clean, and the staff are kind, helpful and knowledgeable. If your looking to bring your children on a play date... Then, I guarantee they'll be entertained."

"Oh my!! I was ecstatic over seeing this shop! As you will gather by my many photos. I truly want to embrace and share the ambiance I felt upon entering the unique store. The young lady working there was very kind and helpful.Truly patient as I tried not to touch everything. There’s handmade jewelry, an array of book collections. With a broad focus on African American children, and history. Also Memphis history. Nice Art work, tons of trinkets, fragrances , clothing, scarfs, toiletries. There’s something for everyone. This quaint and cozy spot is nestled inside of the newly renovated Crosstown Concourse Building. Lower level south side."

"A favorite… there is just something about book stores. This is the closest one to me and it is very relaxing. I resisted today, but they do have the best peanut butter cookies in the world! Don’t try them, they are addictive. :) I always feel so inspired while I’m here and some days you just have to grab a book and get comfortable."

"I love this store...it's huge and has an incredible selection of books, bookmarks, calendars, toys and a whole host of little things you can give as gifts. There's a music section as well. And of course it never hurts to grab a coffee from their coffee bar and sit and read or people watch for a few minutes! Easy to find and plenty of parking too!"

"Took the kids here to pick out books. Lots of great stuff to choose from. Surprised at the amout of stuff other than books that they had such as toys, games and just a lot of random things I did not expect to see in a book store including a Starbucks. We ended up spending over an hour browsing the store. Definitely worth checking out."

"What's not to love about Barnes & Noble! It's like your favorite small town library pumped up after a good workout... Huge selection of magazines covering everything from quilt making to muscle cars. Vast selection of the best most current books you can find. Huge selection of board games and toys. Did I mention they even sell Vinyl records and CDs here! Not to mention they have a Starbucks if you want to have coffee while reading your book or magazine. Nice cozy kids area too, with stuffed animals and graphic kids novels and toys. Best Lego selection in town! What's not to love about this place!"

"Barnes and Noble has always been one of those stores I begged my mother to take me too as a child, cause I thought it would be cool. And I was right, it's awesome. From books, to Vinyls and toys, this place has it all. Not to mention as an adult I can get my DnD stuff here. Though a bit pricy, everything here is good quality and the staff is colorful and pleasant."

"What a beautiful store with books, magazines and merchandise on every subject imaginable! You will want to browse every area! Need a break? How about a cup of coffee at the Starbucks in the corner? Even nice clean restrooms in back! Did you bring the kiddos? Whole big area for them to browse and fill their wants! Even a sales area you won't want to miss! Take a break from the phone and pick up a book!"

"Great way to spend a few hours! An excellent selection of not only books, but also periodicals, maps, albums, CDs, games, toys, and gifts! My only complaint is there are no chairs or couches to sit down and relax in the shopping area."
