Great value and awesome taste, the Hainanese chicken rice here is “SECOND TO NONE“ in the city. The chicken texture is silky and tender like tofu, with almost perfect proportion of fat and lean meat. The house-made ginger sauce nicely highlights the umami of the chicken flavor. The white pepper radish chicken soup that comes with the combo is also hearty. If you come in a group and want some variety, this well-maintained hole-in-the-wall place also offers other authentic yet affordable dishes. No wonder why it has gained such population despite the humble interior deco. Would highly recommend everyone to try.
Amazing food great selection with many different combinations. I love the way it's served in a bag with all your seafood and corn and a potato, that way everything had an amazing chance to soak up all the great seasoning juices. We both got a small catch snow crab and small catch headless shrimp. I got spicy and my girl got mild. Both styles done perfectly and didn't lose a bit of flavor which can sometimes happen when you're trying to make things really spicy. The lady behind the counter was courteous quick very friendly and made some good suggestions I regret not getting her name for the review. My only issue is some of the snow crabs were not as meaty as they could have been but that wasn't a big enough problem to remove any stars. And by the way this was actually a takeout order so if the food was that great when I got home I can only imagine how much better it would have been if I had eaten there. I will definitely be coming back multiple times it's a great place for great food great fun and a good place to meet with your friends for some drinks.
Empire provisions is the delivery menu for Bird Dog. (It's the same place) We got the fried chicken sandwich, mac n cheese, and biscuits. The fried chicken sandwich was really good. The mac n cheese and biscuits were also great.
By far the best chicken wings place in New York and likely anywhere... Inventive wing menu to match any wing cravings including the must have classic Buffalo wings, heavenly Vietnamese style wings, a fiery Jamaican jerk that left me wanting more and a great any-style vegetarian cauliflower option for my better half that refrains from meat. Wingzilla is a MUST order/pick up destination, you’ve never had wings as good as these!
Literally the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Blows Popeyes and Chick fil a out of the water. I've probably ordered here times. It is just a pain to order because it is part of Brine, but the store is set up to order Brine and not Chiky. Separately, Brine is the best non-sandwich chicken I've ever had, probably ordered it times. This store has been a godsend during COVID. Not sure how I got so lucky.
The best quick bite option in Midtown! The chicken is so flavorful and tender and you can’t go wrong with any of the sides! Spam Fried Rice! Furikake Fries with Kewpie Mayo!
Flavorful and tender with really delicious sauces! I tried both the fried and original and loved both! It’s very well priced too. Really happy to have found this place!
The tripe and beef in chili oil was so good I ate two myself and the lamb chops were amazing. I think they were spiced with cumin. Kids liked the soup dumplings and the lo mein. The other adults enjoyed the chicken with broccoli and the scallion chicken. This restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood. I'll be back with a more courageous group next time.
Please support wonderful local businesses like this! I’ve been getting food from here ever since they opened. It’s consistently delicious, could be best Jamaican in the city, and the staff is always so nice. Now they’re open more consistently until 8pm-ish, and have a new bar seating area in addition to their backyard! Their decor is inviting with island vibes without being kitschy or cheesy. They also offer a large carribean beer selection that I haven’t seen outside of the islands. Covid has been hard on them with staffing and other issues, so please please support a place like this that is only run out of the desire to bring great food to our community!! 🥰
We were on our way to a broadway show and stumbled upon this restaurant for dinner. There was a % off and we were intrigued by the menu's selection of Sichuan style food. We ordered the eggplants w/ garlic sauce, chicken dry pot, and house special lo mein. The waitress spoke Mandarin and was able to accommodate and lower the spice levels for us. Service was great as well. The eggplants were my favorite as they were well stir-fried and had great flavors and spice. At the end, we were also given dessert, free on the house! It wasn't too sweet and was definitely something new and tasty for me. The price was very reasonable for being in the city.
My favorite chicken of all time, but always had it delivered so thought I'd treat my parents to it for dinner one night. Didn't realize this isn't possible after looking at the website and Google listing showing an address and with dine-in checked. We showed up and were told there is no dine-in. The signage is understandably confusing (both Left Bank and Poulet Sans Tete displayed) so I would expect those inside to be used to people showing up confused, but they seemed flabbergasted when I asked if it was the chicken place. Then they tried to seat us saying that they had chicken on the menu. The whole experience was really odd and just want to give others a heads up that there is no dine-in.
Cute little spot, nice and clean. Staff was very nice! Asked if they offer military and she said no but gave us free drinks! Also, the food! Was so yummy. I ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the chicken strips and waffles. The sandwich was just enough for me. We were FULL. I would definitely stop here again.
Visiting NYC and came upon this fabulous place. The chicken was delicious…tender and flavorful. Many choices of sides from decadent Mac & cheese to health Brussels sprouts. All the food was fresh and well prepared. We went here twice and even later in the evening at 8: the food looked very fresh. The staff was fast and friendly. And all this for a reasonable price. This is definitely on our go-to list for our visits to New York.
This was a random find for us. We ate in. NOTE: everything is electronic! We didn't realize that you seat yourself then scan the QR code to order so we stood around waiting for people. Essentially it's a ghost kitchen. Order and pay online or through their take out kiosk and they bring you the food. We did the wings and drums combo which was delicious. A bit salty but good! We also ordered the garlic parm fries which were so good! We sat inside and it was like a disco (techno music and lights that "danced" to the beat. Didn't realize they also have an adorable outdoor space in the back! It was good food - definitely would go back.
Great snack! It's a perfect place to eat at after school or work with friends. Our food came extremely fast (within 5 min of ordering) and still tasted fresh and spicy. Tenders are huge though, so only grab 6 if your party has more than 3 people. Great variety of dipping sauces too! Come here when your in the neighborhood and in need of a quick snack.
I don't normally post the reviews but this place was awesome ! The chicken was really good !! Drumsticks and wings were so incredibly huge!! You can also try different sauces, there are chief homemade sauces selection. Ttukbock ki and dumplings was also good. It has good amount of spice. The truffle fries was the best in my life!!! Everything was perfect. I went with my three other friends, we all came with so happy face lol I will definitely come back for sure! Strongly recommend to try Korean fried chicken !! They also offer delivery. Thumbs up! 👍
Another fantastic chicken sandwich you must try. This guy was massive and cooked perfectly. The fries too…. So good. My girlfriend got the grilled Buffalo chicken wrap and it was amazing as well. To be honest, I think I’d order the wrap again before the sandwich. The only change I’d make is maybe going with fried tenders instead of grilled just to see what’s better. Overall great spot for a good price if you want something quick on the west side. Tons of outdoor seating as well.
Ever since this place came under new management, they have added new food to the menu and they are delicious. By far the best chimi I have ever had in the heights! I will never go back to a chimi truck 😂 This chimi has so much flavor and freshly made.
