AMAZING AMAZING CHARCUTERIE BOARD!!! First time ever ordering from here for my company. We were hosting special clients and they were able to fulfill my order in a rush notice and they delivered! It was delicious. Everything was fresh and the presentation was spectacular. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone who loves a good cheese board.

I've been a fan of Valley Shepherd's cheese for years, so long that I remember their West Village shop. In addition to being able to get their cheeses at the Union Square Green Market, it's nice that they now have a stand in the Essex Market where you'll find not just their own cheese but a well curated offering of other cheeses as well. The staff at the stand is super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. On a recent visit, discovering that they are now making their own butter was a highlight. Their cultured butter is a revelation, on par with the finest French butters. The truffle butter is also quite nice, perhaps not as redolent of truffle as one would hope but enough to make it enjoyable on a piece of toast or over popcorn. Don't be alarmed that it is made with butter and truffle oil. The oil used is olive oil with shavings of truffle, not the horrible typical truffle oil made with synthetic fragrance/flavoring.

Blessed by Raif’s generosity, which was the only thing that could taste better to my Soul than the brilliant Honey Goat and Truffle Gouda. To hear his story and learn of this fine entrepreneurial adventure he’s on with his family was a gift. Thank you!

Awesome little sister shop to Wine around the block. I’ve run in here a couple times already to buy emergency cheese and crackers before parties, and have been astonished at the quality of the cheese. It’s pricey, but oh man is it worth it. The guy at the front also makes great recommendations!

Max Delivery is the best online grocery delivery service in Manhattan!! I have been using them since the onset of the pandemic in April and have never been disappointed by their service. Their organic produce is of good quality and they always delivery on time. I particularly like how they bring some really good local produce and other stuff like french bakery - Balthazar, Murray’s gourmet cheese and Raffetto’s pasta. Kudos to Max Delivery and their staff for their outstanding service through the pandemic! Thank you!!

What lease can I say? Ideal sells high quality cheeses and snacks. They carry a wide variety of cheese related items for all occasions. The staff is on point, knowledgeable, and super accommodating. I had a Las minute cheese wheel emergency on New Year’s Eve, Mark and the crew were able to get me what I needed in. Flash. They even gave me advice on how to do what needed to be done. All I can say is thanks for the successful dinner party.

Malt & Mold is my favorite beer and cheese shop in Manhattan, although, to be fair, they carry so much more! They have a sandwich of the day, which are always perfection. Their cheese selection and cheese platters are incredible. (The Secret de Lys, a cows milk from France might be the best cheese I’ve ever had.) They carry everyday beers and specialty beers (like Goose Island Bourbon County Stout) and, if you’re so inclined, have a mug club! This is the perfect store to pick up quick food-related gifts or treat yourself. Let’s be honest - I typically treat myself! Word to the wise: Get the chocolate-covered corn nuts and thank me later! Truly a gem of a store and the owners, Kevin and Caitlin, are approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely nice people.

This is such a great spot ! Its amazing to learn about French cheese and butter In the neighborhood of Nolita. The place is always clean the staff is always amazing I have hosted a couple of events here and I always want to come back. Looking forward to hosting many events here

Amazing hidden gem in Upper Manhattan. Came to get a lesson in good IPA’s and was more than happy for the experience. Nice staff, great prices and an amazing selection!

We bought a porterhouse steak yesterday that was grassfed. One steak fed 2 people! The meat was immaculate and we enjoyed every bite. We'll definitely be regulars here now. The staff is perfectly lovely and gave great advice on how to best prepare the meat. I'd highly encourage everyone to try this place!
