This is my favorite thrift store. We have found many valuable items for example an ASUS gaming laptop for . that retails for . that was a good find.

Wow! What a store! Huge variety of records, books, CDs and DVD. I spent my time browsing the vinyl. Everything was nice and neat, labeled, and clean. The staff that greeted me was exceptionally kind. Although certain things I was looking for were out, I still made out like a bandit securing much on my list. I would say the prices are fair but you will say some are expensive. The parking situation is horrible. Only 2 to 3 parallel spaces right in front of the store. There is a huge credit union neighboring it. But don't get tempted to park there. A lot of interesting shops surrounding the store. I will be back!

I did not purchase anything but donated a coffee table and other small pieces of furniture. Ladies that were assisting behind the store for donations were very nice.

I absolutely loved it here for many reasons. Every section is labeled, they have furniture items, which goodwill's around here haven't been taking. I found a ton of actually good stuff and the price on each of them was a score. I was personally so excited to see self checkouts. Even had to do an exchange later the same day and the guy observing was so nice and the girl was helpful too. :)

After a bad experience at a record store in Seattle (Easy Street Records), which was my first time buying vinyl in years, I visited Rainy Day records in Olympia to do price comparisons. To my surprise this little record store is awesome. I went in to browse and found exactly what I was looking for within minutes, 7 albums for under $4 each so I bought them for my aunt who recently bought a turntable. Rainy Day records has a broad selection of vinyl, cassettes, CDs and everything else you can imagine, with great prices. They have great deals on record players as well, which I almost bought today because it was such a good price (passed because we have enough music platforms already). The people who work here are way cool and the customers are friendly too. Much different than the experience I had in Seattle. Highly recommended!

I shop and donate here on a regular basis, there is stuff being donated all day, every day, so there is a constant rotation of inventory, which makes it hard to stay away for too long! I’ve found so much great treasures here (I literally got a shark vacuum cleaner for dollars, people!!). The staff is also incredible. So nice, and so helpful. A special shout out to Gene, Tea, and Joe for always being wonderful people I look forward to seeing when I’m there, see you next week, guys!

This location is one of the best thrifts in the area. I always find a treasure, their customer service and staff are top notch and the showcase always has great items at decent prices. Keep it up y'all, you're a shining 🌟!!

The employees are knowledgeable, helpful. I've shopped here for years, always found the best bargains. Plus they will take furniture long as it's in saleable condition (not trash), open 7 days a week for donations. Remember one person's donations are treasures for another.

This is a great value village, sometimes it gets a little busy, but the people here are super friendly, always pretty good stuff on offer, stores about as clean as they can keep it. I stop here frequently, and don't have any intention of stopping. How did bonus, though they do tend to overprice some items, they don't separate stuff into a fashion focus with a outrageous price tag on it like Goodwill. So that's I definitely plus one in my book

Excellent Record Store!!! We went on Record Store Day. It is very large and has every type of music you could imagine. New and used items. Prices are reasonable. Vinyl, cassettes, CDs, DVD and Blu Ray (& 3D), books - you name it, they've got it. They also purchase good quality items if you're looking to sell. Parking is a bit limited. Enter off 1st Ave - not Occidental Wy if you want to find a spot in the lot. If you don't find one, drive straight through to Occidental and park in back. Staff was friendly and helpful. This record store has the best selection of Emo music in all of Seattle. Most record stores in Seattle have a very lacking emo selection. It's quite simple that it's just not popular around there. Also most record shops don't carry a lot of emo due to the fact that most of the genre is DIY. But I have found bands like La Dispute, Modern Baseball, American Football, Tigers Jaw, Joyce Manor, and more at this store. Granted now those aren't the most emo bands out there, but it's still awesome I could find them here. I can not speak on anything else this store has to offer, simply because none of if applies to me. The store also has a digital database if you don't feel like looking, you can ask the person at the counter.

This is a great record store. The selection of vinyl records, new and used, is simply overwhelming. Not to mention CDs and DVDs. More so, if you're looking for that rare collector's box set or rare limited edition vinyl record, you're most likely to find it here. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and can help you track down that hard to find recording. Best part is that their prices are very reasonable. Strongly recommend visiting any of Silver Platters location for your next musical adventure.

My switch joycons had drift and they totally fixed them up for me! also they have super good deals on switch pro controllers, too good to pass up, so I got one. Love this place :)

I'm very sad that many Value Villages have been closed down. This is 1 of the few remaining . Please stay open! Please Donate. Please Shop! I have depended on valuevillage for all my clothing. I can not afford regular stores.

I've been going to Silver Platters stores for decades. Its always an excellent experience. Can't find something? They can help. Special order? They can help. Excellent selection? % There's something special about going to record stores to find things and for 2 decades + Silver Platters has always been an excellent store to shop at and this Lynnwood location is awesome. Great Customer Service as well.
