Very friendly staff and was an awesome ride! Cheapest bike was $ an hour, well worth it. Nice to pedal and also not to pedal. Great way to spend an hour or two and see the ocean, more if your butt can handle that long on a bike :)

Devin and crew (the day we were there it was Aaron and Chris), are amazing! My husband and I were in OB for our anniversary and the weather was perfect. After a little research, we decided the best way to see the area was by e-bike. We found the shop on Google and set out. Once there Devin and Aaron showed us around and after hearing some of our concerns, got us set up with some awesome fat tire cruisers for a hr rental. Aside from quality bikes and boards (they also have e-skates and one wheels), the atmosphere of the shop was awesome. Everyone was very friendly, and accommodating to anything we needed. I would give them stars if I could, they would be deserving of every one of them. If you are in OB and are in search of a more adventurous way to see the area, hit these guys up! Rebecca Gordon

Love this place. Selection of gear is top notch considering it's a small shop. Juan is a great mechanic. He looked at something I thought was a problem. It wasn't. Didn't charge me. I bought a quality, fitted cycling jacket for much less than what they normally go for. Wish I had a shop like this in my neighborhood.

Awesome staff. Incredible coffee. This place is a hidden Gem worth going out of your way for. I walked in and was immediately helped to some beans freshly roasted today! I had an americano while I waited and it was fantastic. I will definitely be back.

Had a great experience at Stay True Cycleworks! Just bought a bike off of marketplace. Brakes were all out of whack and it didn’t shift smoothly at all. I called here and another shop to get a quote and this shop was initially cheaper by $. Once I showed up John quickly checked out my bike and said I’d be good with the even cheaper tune up. That was $ less than the neighboring competition! And John is fabulously easy to talk to and genuine in nature. I rode the bike home two days later and she rides smooth as butter (I could have gotten it back in one day but I was in no rush). My experience at this shop could not have been better. I will be coming back here for all of my bike needs. Thanks for the great experience, John and shop fam!

Very good job,saved me lots of money. They surely know what they are doing,you feel it! They are e-bike experts. I brought my ebike to an other store,but they coldn’t fix it. Luckily I found this place. And,bingo!!! Perfect!!

The quality of work and quickness of the bicycle parlor was top notch and everything you could ask for. Even my bike was an inexpensive one but he made me feel that i could have won the world series on it. He gave me recommendations and advise for future. Will definitely do business again

Today I had the best customer service experience I’ve had in ages. I was in a bit of a pickle because I needed a tool that I didn’t have, and it was urgent. I called this store in a panic, thinking there was a Hail Mary chance they might have the tool. Aaron who works there was super helpful and friendly on the phone and let me come by and borrow what I needed. Just genuine good Samaritanship and overall made me happy that there are still such kind and generous souls in the world. If this is how they treat a random non-customer who needs a hand, I can only imagine how amazing they are with their customers and fans. I now number among those forever fans. Highly recommend this establishment. And the bikes look so cool!!! Need to come back for a test ride for sure!

Gilberto is super knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging! Clearly passionate about the sport, he had a very professional focus on ‘let’s get you out there safely as fast as possible’ while giving clear and concise insight as to what you will need to plan for in long-term care/maintenance of your bike. He gave incredibly fair pricing on parts, competitive pricing on a tune-up, turned my bike around very quickly, and freely discussed alternative ways I can go about getting future parts on my budget. No pressure to go through him! He was very positive with me and my boyfriend (both of us novice trail riders), and suggested many places we can go to enjoy our skill-building. We are thrilled to have found such a valuable neighborhood resource! Thanks Gilberto!!

I got a ROADSTER V2 over a year ago to ride the hilly bike trails of Colorado and it has been one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. Electric pedal assist is very useful on long uphill climbs and this bike does the job admirably. The bike is of excellent quality: every component is better than I would have expected and I love the belt drive, so quiet and smooth and no chain to worry about. Battery is great too, it's enough to cover my usual miles of hilly riding distance, and the battery is hidden in the body of the bike so it's completely invisible. Wherein the Roadster is as light as a mountain bike.

Make Stay Classy Bike Rentals number one on your list of places to rent a bike in San Diego. I made the mistake of waiting until the day before my trip to look into renting a bike, and the inventory was pretty thin by then. Peter went out of his way to make sure I had a bike that met my needs. When I arrived he made sure the bike fit was proper, even installing a longer stem, and he did a quick derailleur tune to ensure that all was in order. Pricing was very reasonable for the bike that I got, and I rode it for more than trouble free miles. Stay Classy gets my highest recommendation.

It was my first time popping into this bike and ski shop and I’m happy I did. The customer service was awesome! Super friendly and helpful staff. Full service repair shop for all your bike and skiing needs. They had a good selection of mountain and electric bikes and from the sounds of it could order you just about anything. Parking isn’t the best but it’s well worth going out of the way to support local and get great quality help or gear you need visiting these guys.

We rented bikes from this company, and they were terrific! Excellent customer service from them! Showed us where to go on our ride, and even equipped us with free water bottles! Definitely made for a great time biking in SD!

If you are considering purchasing ANY e-bike, do yourself a favor and see Matt at Electric Bike Central first. At the onset of the pandemic, I did my internet research and was convinced I knew the best type of e-bike for my needs. Matt was able to educate me on the different options I was considering, as well as guide me toward an e-bike that has been a great fit for me these last few years. And regardless of whether I purchased from his shop, he was very professional and knowledgable and took his time helping me make the best decision for my lifestyle rather than rushing me out the door. I ultimately bought an e-bike from his shop and couldn’t be happier. I also service my e-bike at EBC and have had an excellent experience every time. Very knowledgeable, fairly and competitively priced and all around an excellent local business to visit and support!
