Here is a review from an user.
First let me say the customer service we received from Chris was off the charts !! He deserves stars ! We were out riding and my friend got a flat tire so we call around and Chris answered the phone he said come on over so we did ,he was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He literally saved the day! ! “ There are Angel’s Among us and Chris is one of them”.Thank You so much for all your help today! We really appreciate you! I highly recommend going over to see Chris if your in the Market for any type of bike ! They have a great selection! 🌸 with impeccable customer service! Enjoy.
Best rental place on Mission Beach, hands down. Matt is a great owner. Very apparent he leads his staff well. Appreciate him, the business, and his mission.
What a great crew at Momentum Bicycles. Talon was very helpful and resourceful. Despite the back orders they were experiencing, he let me know about the quickest way to get our bikes, order them online and have them sent to their shop for assembly. We even had them delivered to my girls. Wonderful experience! I highly recommend them.
This shop is top notch. They go above and beyond to get you back on the trail running smooth as quickly as possible. I was in a bind right before an upcoming trip and they were able to get me sorted out and ready to go. They somehow also have or are able source parts that you probably can’t find around town or online. Can’t thank them enough for their hard work and dedication to community!
I do enjoy coming here. I'm more or less.. more the harder customer to please. This place is great, with a reasonable conversation with staff members all my issues with my bike where solved. Good work and a great place you might want to call or stop at for you bicycle needs.
Awesome staff, great advice. Works well for bikes for the whole family. This store has served San Diego for a long as I can remember, years or more? Really convenient location, close to a lot of stores across the road. But closed on Tuesdays :-/ It is tough for any businesses these days. There should be more stores like Q Bikes!
Seamus was really cool, gave my bike a quick fix for free after 2 years of no use and garage dust. Just what I needed.
I stopped in today for a flat fix after something cut my rear tire like crazy. Without hesitating, they were able to offer me several choices of tire, whisked my bike up onto the stand and replaced the tire and tube in less than min. Full disclosure, I've been a bike mechanic and shop owner for the last years, and I always judge a shop on how friendly, efficient and especially willing they are to get me back on the bike quickly. No fuss, just nice folks. I highly recommend you stop here first.
My experience here was absolutely amazing! Kirsten E was a huge part of that. She was extremely helpful and expanded knowledge on how to pick a bicycle. We had found a great bike and she looked up the availability online and my local REI (Albuquerque, New Mexico) and found it was the last bike of it's kind available. I rode out on a super awesome REI CO-OP bike that is perfect for me. Thank you Kirsten!
If REI sells it, I buy it. Wholesome employees who are passionate about the outdoors and the things they sell. REI stands behinds its products, employees, and the environment. The Bike Shop is also a very affordable and dependable place to bring your bike for service. Recently I worked with Guy and he was absolutely fantastic. Knowledgeable and communicative - he is just a great person and employee. Join the coop. Buy a bike. Enjoy life.
I live in Chula Vista and will drive this far to get the service I can get from Black Mountain Bicycles. I bought my Roubaix Comp here and I've already suggested to a few friends to buy their bike here. One of them also bought a Roubaix and super happy with their purchase. Here's my suggestion in regards to a good process to buy your bike. 1st work with JD to get a bike fit. Then you can be confident that your bike will work with you and not against you! The staff is is awesome!! I've worked with a few of them already since my wife also bought a bike and had her fitting here. I can't recommend this place enough.
I had a good experience at the Bike Shop at Del Sur, also called Edison Cycle co. My rear cog set was worn out and they ordered me a replacement. It was an high end obscure brand and took longer to arrive than expected. When it arrived they called me and I expected that I would need to leave the bike for a few days. Quinn the mechanic popped my bike on the rack and said he would finish in minutes so I would not need to wait a few days for my bike. He also identified that I should replace some bearings and ordered them for me to get fixed later. Local bike shop with a large selection of kids and family bikes along with some high end Yeti mountain bikes 🚴.
I've got my bike refurbished and now it looks like new. Fair prices and excellent customer service. Great communication. I highly recommend.
I emailed Cal Coast regarding a demo Ripmo AF they had for sale and Aaron emailed me back confirming they still had it. We set up a time for me to come by and he had everything dialed for my height and weight before I got there. Aaron took the time to explain the ins and outs of the bike and answered all of my questions. It is kinda awkward having to wait outside for the staff to come out to you. I understand its due to covid but it with many other stores being back open this seemed odd. Additionally the store is packed full of bikes and gear which is awesome but not really great for browsing. I highly recommend this bike shop to anyone looking for a bike. I will be going back next week to get a bike for my daughter. Do yourself a favor and set up an appointment prior to showing up. It made everything go very smoothly.
I recently rented a bike. Great service! But more impressive was how the owner handled things when I had to explain that the bike was stolen even though it was locked up. What he charged was very reasonable. Being a business owner myself, I know that it is not convenient or cheap to replace inventory especially in these times of supply chain issues. When I told the three employees how impressed I was with the owner, they all expressed what a good man he is to work for. This speaks volumes regarding his good character! Thank you Monty!
I have purchased two bikes and a good amount of gear from this store. Every experience I have had has been awesome. So good in fact, it is the only bike shop I will go to now and I encourage my friends to do the same. The staff is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and trustworthy. They stand behind their equipment and will go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. % this is the best bike shop in San Diego!
We just had an awesome experience at Ray’s Rentals! Our jet ski broke down and not only did they refund us the full amount but let us take out a kayak for free as well! Steve took awesome care of us! They were great and we will use them again!
There are campus golf carts gated up here, but no available air compressor in site. Use the one at the southeast corner of the gas station convenience shop.
