Order a 2 meat meal. Pulled pork and brisket, comes with 2 sides. We got French fries and Mac and cheese. Everything was really tasty! Both meats were smoke perfectly, super moist and flavorful. The bbq sauce is tangy and has a slight spice. Came with two slices of bread. The Mac and cheese has a kick. The fries are seasoned with a seasoning salt and pretty crispy. Overall, really awesome!
This was the first and only time that I've been to Beez Neez, as it's brand new! I definitely plan adding this to my list of frequented carts, since it's so close to my work 😁 My total came out to $. ($7. for the hot link, and $2. for the potato salad, which is super worth it!!!). While this Louisiana Hot Link could have been more spicy (in my humble, spice obsessed opinion), and the bun could have been just slightly less chewy, this was EXTREMELY delicious! (UPDATE: The bun was not overly chewy at all, upon purchasing a Polish Beef Hot Dog during my second visit a week later. It was perfect this time! And the polish dog was on point 👌) Plus, you can customize the heat & flavor factors with their amazing, extensive list of complimentary condiments and toppings! I think I went with spicy brown mustard, roasted garlic aoli, pickled jalapenos, pickled onions, and pickle relish. The people working the cart were very friendly, service was quick, and they even offer a couple different reindeer dogs 😮 I'm definitely gonna have to give one of them a try! They also offer the classics (polish dog, regular hot dog, etc). I think they are all 1/4 lb dogs. Oh, and the $2. add-on potato salad is killer!!! It was so thick that it makes the size very deceiving. I was still working on it even after I was already done with the hot link. I thought I was never going to be able to finish it (oh, but I did!). Did I mention that it's homemade? It's honestly one of the best potato salads that I've ever had! They have a truly awesome entree menu and complimentary condiment/toppings menu. I'll try to get pics next time I'm there, which will be soon 😋 Keep up the awesome work, Beez Neez 🐝🦵👍
All the food from this place is great! I LOVE the empanadas and Keleguen. Typical go to when I stop by. The BBQ plates are also really good too. The flavors are very comforting & brings me back home. The staff is very friendly too. Si Yu'os Ma'åse' 🇬🇺😋
It’s everything they had told me…and more 🙌🏼 Just might be the best BBQ place I have been to in my life. The brisket sandwich was amazing. But on the second visit I opted for the burnt pork belly. And let me tell you, it was as if I was eating candy. Do yourself a favor and venture into the world of BBQ here in Portland. You won’t be sorry.
I have a rule. If I love a place, I will never rate it because I want to keep the good stuff a secret. But I will make an exception because this place just blew my mind! I had the chicken BBQ bowl and a side of baked beans. What a delight. Flavor explosion! Collard greens were just wonderful, cooked perfectly and a great addition to the meal. Will come here again for sure.
The best thing I've eaten on the west coast! Our road trip from SoCal to Seattle took us here to eat. It was incredible! I was having the big O just tasting the flavor depth of this BBQ. My partner and I walked past a restaurant on the block and he said "they might as well close with this food truck near by". You have to try the sliced brisket! Matt and David are hella nice ! Please leave a good tip 💞
We were lucky enough to join their reopening event. Food was delicious and service was quite warm and friendly. We had the BBQ ribs with Mac cheese, probably the best jackfruit ribs in PDX. I enjoyed the vanilla cheesecake, too.
Talk about a flavor explosion in my mouth 🔥. We showed just before the lunch service ended and found the dining room starting to open up a bit. Once seated I looked at the menu and I couldn’t decide on just one thing because it all looked so good Luckily I was dining with two friends and since the meals are meant to be shared family style we ordered everything on the not curry menu. You must try their Sweet & Sour Fried Chicken & their BBQ fried rice w/Brisket. Sooo good! Enjoyed all the dishes we ordered so you really can’t go wrong.
Matt's cart (and sterling reputation) have moved to the recently opened Hinterland pod on SE th. I suspect that the pod's covered seating and central bar service will work out very well for them. Ordering can be done online, or via a pseudo online touchscreen attached to the cart - I suspect that this is good for keeping up with demand, as well as being an effective pandemic protocol. As for the food (finally!), it was well worth the wait for my first visit. Choosing somewhat randomly from the menu, I went with a Pulled Pork taco, as well as the Beef Supremo. If a fast food item was redesigned and made with actual quality ingredients, you'd get the Beef Supremo. This was a fascinating exercise, but it was the Pulled Pork that will bring me back - the pork came with guacamole and pickled onions that proved to cap it off perfectly. Matt's tacos are truly special.
No joke, born and raised Texan here with VERY high bbq standards. The brisket sandwich was absolutely off the chain. It was notably the best bbq I've had in Portland after living here for 5 years. All the options are good, but don't overlook the brisket sando.
This was a great find! I've been craving good soul food for a while now! I'm glad I finally found it! We tried the Crack Fish dinner. They give huge portions for an excellent price. Will definitely be back in the future. Keep up the great work 👍
Amazing food! Very flavorful and tasty! Cute little place with great service! I had steelhead and my partner had cod. Love everything that came with it! So good! 😋
We had J&L cater our person wedding with two choices of Meats and 3 sides. The whole process with them went so smoothly, they delivered our food timely and we received TONS of great reviews on the food. Their catfish was AMAZING and the corn bread and green beans with bacon were a hit. If I ever had to do another large event they will be number one choice. thank you guys so much for taking our wedding to the next level! Taylor and James Roberts
I had the tri-tip cheese steak and it was delicious. They'll serve at the trails end distillery so between the two it's a pretty great experience
I grew up in Atlanta, GA and I believe PoShine's does soulfood right! Irresitible BBQ smells and flavor! Great sides, friendly service and they cater too. Oh and their peach cobbler is amazing too! Both locations are great.
Pick the Pig, it's a squealing deal!(sorry) The bbq smoke seeps into every corner of this dining diamond. The ambiance subtly screams amazing bbq joint and the food echoes that. We ordered a variety of meats and sides and everything met the expectations you'd have, but the chicken thighs surprised us. They featured a crunchy bark with deep flavor and juicy interior and the Pig serves thighs with a Jalapeño Jelly with sweet spicy junks of jalapeños.
Love this place!! Lots of vegan 🌱 food and all the food truck owners are super friendly! I come here almost every time I fly into PDX. Say Hi to Buddy and order one of his amazing cheesesteaks or stop by Baby Blue Wood-fired Pizza! The dough is perfect and so was the cooking execution, coming from someone who spent a decade of their life making and cooking pizza for a living.
Took my 4 month old pup out to socialize - and my sister and I stopped at StormBreaker Brewing for a quick lunch. The patio was comfortable in degree weather - and they brought my pup a dog bowl filled with water right away. The Goddess Salad was perfect, as well as their Tones of Home Ale. Thanks guys! A++
One of the places I miss most about not living in Portland any more and the place I am constantly coming back to when I come in to town. Everything is so delicious. Love the new sausage menu items.
