Perhaps the Best Burgers in LA!!! There’s heavy competition for the Best Burger crown but The Tripel delivers time & time again! Top level burgers, high quality meats, and the perfect flavor profiles. For example, the House Apricot Jam on the Tripel Burger is a move of genius!! Also love that the burgers are paired with side salads, which work as a great palate refresher between bites of the decadent burgers. Staff are always helpful and in a good mood, it’s a cozy neighborhood place with great beers on tap! Chef Brooke Williamson always delivers thoughtful and delicious food, highly recommended!
Excellent food and attentive service in a relaxed atmosphere. The server was very helpful in selecting vegetarian options and the food came out hot and extremely tasty. Couldn't have asked for a better experience on our trip to LA. Highly recommend this local gem. We will be back
This bar is awesome! We heard that it was the smallest bar in LA and expected to be greeted by regulars who resented our presence. We experienced the complete opposite. The bartender Pete immediately recognized my Midwest accent and engaged myself and my 2 adult children in conversation. The locals at the bar were also very engaging. Many reviews I have read described it as a dive. I completely disagree with that assessment. It is a local bar that is very welcoming to any patron. Keep in mind it is cash only! Looking forward to going back!
All their food is fantastic, but I'll tell you this. Their bakery is actually easy better if you can believe that. The drinks, the food are top notch no doubt. And I love their fish tacos so much. But I'll tell you this, get there early in the morning when they open or else all the pastries will be gone. It's all on another level.
Had the Shack Cheeseburger that came topped with a Louisiana style sausage link. It was incredible, very juicy and tasty. Also had the funnel fries that were absolutely killer. Service was very tentative and friendly. Definitely recommend this place right before or after a flight. minutes away from LAX. Have your vaccination card ready otherwise you have to sit outside.
Excellent customer service, the drinks are made with love, the food is decent; very small portions. The vegan pizza was ok, personal size, I think a flavorful vegan cheese would add a pleasant touch. If you have a major sweet tooth don’t get the double chocolate cake (the chocolate taste more like cacao than milk chocolate). The space has a cute, rustic, casual vibe. Lastly, $ per person all you can drink for brunch and happy hour.
Fun atmosphere and awesome staff! Ingrid made us amazing drinks and helped us pick some great food choices! Jan was super helpful and just a gem. We were celebrating our first day of our honeymoon and they were all so sweet! Mo, the owner, came out and was so welcoming and accommodating. Set us up with a personal bottle of wine with all the necessities for our boat ride the following day. Everyone was just the best!!! Will definitely recommend to others and come back while we are here ❤️
I come in quite often and enjoy a few pints of beer during the afternoon, I'm retired. The prices are very reasonable and the service is very good. I've never had any problems with anyone here and always enjoy my visit. I haven't tried the lunch specials but will at some time. Melinda is my favorite. an update, I read the top line of their web page. I admit I used to love coming in here spaced-out.
Grain is one of my favorite bars in Los Angeles. An atmosphere that I would describe as rustic chic, Grain bartender's are creative mixologists who know how to make a great drink every time. If you're feeling adventurous, try the Bartender's choice. It never disappoints and I can be a bit picky when it comes to cocktails. Zach made me an incredible drink with Japanese whiskey, muddled strawberries, bitters and a perfume spritz of rose. It was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Their selection of whiskey is vast and I personally love the option to have Japanese whiskey in my drinks. The Sansei is absolutely delicious. Everything Brooke touches is divine so make sure you get some bar snacks which are top chef worthy.
Hubby and I were invited to a birthday dinner at Whiskey Red’s in Marina del Rey. Of course, I had to read reviews to see what people had to say. Unfortunately, I did come across many bad reviews, but that wasn’t going to change my mind because I had an invitation to celebrate a friend's birthday. I’m glad I went despite the reviews. Our friend rented a private room right next to the water. It was nice to have a room to ourselves. The sunset was beautiful, and the whole vibe was great! There was a pre-fixed dinner planned for everyone, which included dinner rolls, Caesar salad, chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini, and for dessert, cheesecake. Everything was actually really, really good! Both my hubby and I ate everything on our plates! Hubby and I ordered drinks at the bar. The drinks weren’t the best, so we got one and done. I guess that would be my only issue. Parking is available right in front of the restaurant, and I believe it’s free of charge. Whiskey Red’s is a nice restaurant with a lot of potential. It needs an upgrade, and once that happens, it can be even more amazing! It is a great place to host an event. If I come back, I would probably want to sit by one of the fire pits.
Oh my Lord! These servings are pretty darn big so you really get some bang for your buck. Generally, ordering a burger from a place like Chicago Ribs is pretty hit-or-miss, but this place hit it spot-on. Everyone in the family had good food, even our pickiest eater liked the ribs.
A friend and I stumbled into tower pizza after a bit of a let down at a nearby restaurant and it could have been a stumble into a Time Machine. This place feels calcified in ’s/’s sports bar culture and I LOVED it. Random games in a corner, lots of campy framed sports posters, super funny employees and damn good pizza. From the second we saw a screen door at the entrance we knew we were in the right place. We ordered the 4 topping large pizza and some chili fries which both were amazing. They have a pretty decent beer selection and was the kind of place where bartenders were hugging and high fiving patrons. If you’re in the market for a new local and/or sports bar this is your place.
Smaller location but they are super fast and super efficient. Greet you when you enter, clean inside and outside. Not overly noisy or crowded. Did a mobile order and it was ready when I arrived. No issues with getting my order correct. Very organized mobile order pickup area behind the counter. Which I truly appreciated because it wasn't left in the front for everybody to pick over while looking for their items.
This is the best coffee shop in LA hands down. The coffee is so good! The staff are so warm and inviting and super knowledgeable about coffee! As someone who used to come to this location when it was a coffee bean & tea leaf I can surely say that I’m glad Qargo moved in and took the coffee shop experience to the next level!
What can I say? Starbucks or Starbucks! This one was average. Summer better than others and this one was okay. I kind of lost my luster for Starbucks once I found out that their bakery goods are frozen now and thought out and sold to be fresh. I try to get my coffee and coffee drinks that will go coffee shops.
I couldn't imagine it would be this good. I was impressed with the customer service, from the entrance and the waitress. Very good price on Sunday, they were charging per game, $. The pizza was very tasty. Excellent playlist. I recommend.
Nice ambience here, especially when sitting outdoors. Normally a quiet area (they do occasionally have concerts at the adjacent park). Staff is normally pretty good. Not a big beer selection but it's still a quality selection. The food is pretty good as well and not outrageously priced. Definitely a solid once a week spot for lunch.
I don't know what they did, maybe they changed management, but CPK is back in the Marina the way it should be--perfect. We have ordered there so many times now I have lost count and each and every time our order is perfect and the service is great. We have not eaten inside much, but when we do the service is friendly and fast and the food great. We have been doing CPK take away at least times in the past few months. It is that good. We call it in or just walk in. The manager there is so great. If there is the slightest problem, they are on it right away. They tell us when to pick up and it is hot and ready the minute we get there. All of their take away is as good as eating there, and that is not usually my experience with a lot of other take aways. We love all of their pizza and now have been through the entire menu of pizza. We have not tried the cauliflower dough and never will, just not our thing. The five cheese is so great and the shrimp pizza and Thai pizza are some of our favorites. We also love their bread and they give you plenty if you ask, I do and I get extra and it is so good. It is always fresh. Their pastas are also very good. We especially love all of their salads. Try their chopped or Italian or Caesar. Just wow. This is now our favorite CPK and we are so open to be able to go local again. So go there.
