Hands down, one of the best restaurants in NYC. From the outside it may just look like a small cafe, but in addition to espresso, Cafe Ubani has an expansive menu of incredible Georgian cuisine. The flavors and textures are Michelin-star-worthy! We had the beet salad, cauliflower with walnut cream, cheese boat (essential!) and dumplings. These dishes were so delicious because they had authentic flavors. Our amazing server (who is one of the owners) said the spices are so unique to Georgia that they have them imported directly from there - and if they don’t have the spice one day, then they don’t make the dish. They never compromise. I’ve been to other places where cheese boats are served and they’re so Americanized that you feel sick when you leave. Not here. Cafe Ubani does it beautifully! The cheese to bread balance is perfect. I left feeling satisfied and comfortable. To top things off, we finished with the honey cake which was by far one of the best desserts I have had in years. I am already planning to go there for my birthday in April to have that cake again. Their pastry chef is amazing — whoever they are! The service was fantastic, too. We really were amazed by our experience.

Amazing service, staff, and food! They were able to accommodate out party of . They went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. The food is high quality and it is quite reasonable in $$ considering the area. Also, it is halal which was a huge plus for our group. /

Julia is extremely professional and made absolutely gorgeous cakes for an engagement party I threw in Tribeca. The engagement also fell on my mother’s birthday, which required a second cake. Julia is thoughtful about other aspects of the proposal when she makes her cakes (e.g., she asked what colors the flowers and linens were so that she could choose the appropriate colors for the petals and fondant on the cake). All around, Julia is an absolute pleasure to work with and I couldn’t recommend her more! It’s been months since the proposal and people still talk about the cakes :) thank you Julia!

This bakery and cafe really rocks. The pastries and the challah are so delicious. Nothing is too sweet or too heavy- everything is just right. So happy they are in my new neighborhood. Prices are fair and the portions are huge. Really a great find!!

This bakery feels out of place in New York City, in a lovely way. It’s very personal, like something you’d see in a small town, where someone sells baked items out of their home. At the same time, the experience was very professional from start to finish, from the ordering experience on the website to the nice pastry box the cookies came in. I got the macadamia nut cookies and they were fantastic. Generous amounts of white chocolate and macadamia nuts, and the cookies here are made to order so they smelled incredible, literally a few minutes out of the oven. I’d order from here again, I’m curious about a few of their other items. Seems like this would also be a nice gift for a lover of baked goods.

I thoroughly enjoyed my delicious sugar free desserts. I had a strawberry-lemonade cupcake & a Pecan pie bar. They were both amazing and I ate them guilt free . I highly recommend.So Flavorful, you won’t regret it ! Gatta taste it to believe it 😉🧁

I’ve been a customer of this amazing bakery for a few months now and can’t say enough good things about it! Alina is a fantastic baker 👩🏻‍🍳 my cat is obsessed with her creations. It looks so delicious, so even I want to have a bite 🙂 Highly recommend!

Clio was a dream to work with on a custom order for my friend's birthday cake! She is highly responsive, so fairly priced, and the cake was delicious! I am so happy to have found her – my new go-to for special occasions.

Came here based on the deserved 5 star reviews. Orders the green tea Swiss roll, a tuna bun, and something else. All were tasty and reasonable priced! The tuna bun was my favorite!

I've tried to order a cake from here twice. Both times I was able to place the order on Grubhub and both times the order was cancelled by GrubHub. Apparently when GrubHub has called them to confirm the order, "fil a belly bella" just never picked up. If you want to actually receive your order, look elsewhere. Edit with more details: My first attempted order was June th and GrubHub cancelled at 4:pm. GrubHub and Google showed they were open. My second attempt was today at :am, I placed a pre-order to be delivered at 4pm. Both GrubHub and Google said they were open at 4pm. The order was cancelled at :pm.

Love this cute little bakery! They have delicious baked goods and great drinks. The lady who runs the counter is super friendly and sweet. Highly recommend for a quick bite!

Hi everyone! I got today special avocado toast with poached eggs. It is not in menu yet but Leo (manager) is going to put it. It was so yummy! Those Dominican red pickled onions were delicious! Thank you for good food! Staff always friendly and helpful!

I worked with Mr. Bill for a birthday party. He was a pleasure to work with. He was so helpful with his artistic opinion on things and was up front with his entire cake making process. He never got annoyed with the many many questions I had. I really appreciate the hard work he put into the cake and it turned out amazing! Tasted great and looked GREAT!!! The details on the cake were crazy amazing! Everyone at the party could not stop talking about the cake!

Great place for a stop during your shopping on 5th! Angelina is a famous Parisian cafe known for their how chocolate and pâtisseries. It is rather pricey however a nice treat. Make sure to try the iced tea which was very good.
