Amazing job auctioning an old Cartier watch that was in our family. We are so delighted with the sale result. Leonard Auction did a fantastic job identifying buyers for what turned out to be a rare piece.
I was very satisfied with the auction results. The Black Star team outperformed on every level and they were very knowledgeable and professional. As a company, they exceeded my expectations - they gave it their all and I'm very grateful.
Great place, great shops.
Excellent
My family has been coming to RPN since the early 's. They've always delivered high quality goods at a reasonable cost. This family business is a go-to for all our home good needs. Nancy and Rodger have always been honest and helpful to us, wanting us to be happy with our choices! Definitely check out their auctions if you can, full of unique and fun stuff!
I visited Potter & Potter for the first time today, and was VERY impressed. I'm commissioning three items with them, and cannot over-state how friendly and helpful the staff there has been in the days and weeks leading up to my appointment today. Their auction catalogs are GORGEOUS and they really have an amazing variety of rare books and manuscripts! I'm looking forward to their upcoming auctions!
It is such an amazing feeling when your purchasing your first piece of fine art. Now selling that first piece feels like giving up your child. Andy Aronoff you are patient and kind. Thanks for validating my feelings and giving me the time and room to make my own decision. I'm very confident Andy and Heritage Auctions are fully competent and capable of finding a new home for my art and obtain fair offer for my art.
Many thanks to the Glass Gallery's leadership for having a professional of the caliber of Paul Berlanga on staff. I am a very new collector of art glass paperweights, having inherited two from my grandmother several years ago. Over the last year, I started to expand my collection and happened upon your website. I made an initial purchase of two smaller weights, one of which was no longer available. What a serendipitous purchase for it was Paul who reached out to counsel me on a potential substitution. Paul’s patient and expert hand has guided me through several subsequent purchases. He has approached every interaction with me with professionalism, sense of humor, and a commitment to making sure that I was not only was satisfied with my purchase, and that it harmonized with my existing collection, but that I grew in my knowledge of the artist's work. Paul operates with integrity and a very clear commitment to his customers. He is deeply knowledgeable and very generous of his time. My initial purchase of a small Deacons and a smallish MacNaught has turned into the purchase of several Mike Hunter pieces and one Drew Ebelhare, all thanks to Paul’s engagement, love for art and the impact its beauty has on one's life, and his steadfast commitment to making sure that I am happy with my purchase. I mentioned to Paul in one of our early conversations that I had seen a MacNaught with a cane in the shape of Texas and without asking, he contacted the artist and located one for me. Please know that thanks to Paul, L.H. Selman has gained a loyal and very happy customer. Your gallery and Paul are consistently my first point of contact for all of paperweight purchases. The quality of the selection, the stellar customer service, and the care taken in the packaging and shipment warrant more than a 5 star review! Paul Berlanga is a gem of a human and a real asset to your gallery, his customers, and to the art glass community!
First time purchasing from this company for a really cool upscale auction. Read the fine print- fees were a little high (totally on me- they had it displayed. I just didn’t read) but the item I won was totally worth it. Parking was a nightmare (much like all of Chicago being under construction) but a employee was nice enough to bring my item out to me! Shame because I would have loved to look through their shop- it’s really pretty from the view from the street. Also, highly recommend working with Michael. Not sure of his title with the auction house, but really great guy and excellent communication and customer service! Look forward to the next sale!
Richard Wright is a wonderfully kind man, who instills this same trait in his cohorts. When he does not want something for his auction , he is very careful saying no trying not to hurt your feelings. When he does want something he is very enthusiastic. I love dealing with them!
Great items featured this week ! Won one item paid and picked it up , very convenient parking and great people working here, 5 star experience, thanks
World class team of staff. Spectacular inventory.
Art Legacy Auction House has sold original art of mine at their auctions for a long time. The collectors who have purchased my work at auction very often contact me directly via email to express how much they love the artwork and the great price they were able to acquire for. They are so satisfied with their purchase, they want more. And they do purchase more. I don't know how Art Legacy Auctions are able to sell my originals and other artists I know at a price that includes the nice framing and shipping. I have purchased some contemporary art from their auctions and being in the art business for years I know that this is outstanding value. With Art Legacy Auction House I am getting some great contemporary art for essentially the price of framing.
The company does a nice job of organizing the sales. Some of those who work for them are friendlier and more helpful than others-- there was one woman who did not seem happy to be there. My issue was the prices-- ridiculously high! I am unsure if that was a choice of the company or the owners, however I did not purchase one thing on the first day. Uncertain if the second day is half off.
