Jake and Sam are the coolest/nicest shop owners that I've met in quite a while. They both are super knowledgeable about everything sold there and are happy to point you in the direction even if they don't have what you're looking for. They have stuff for every price point. Honestly, this place is as much a lounge/hang out spot than it is a store. They carry a bunch of exotic snacks and drinks that you're going to want to check out. Make sure to stop by their place if you are ever in the area!

I loved how I could bring a personal photo that was taken and have it quickly turned into a framed canvas print. I went in and even though he was busy I was walking out of the mall with my canvas photo print and delivered it the same day. It was so easy. I took my friends picture of her newborn baby that she posted and pretty much instantly the print was done. The new mom loved it. I went back and now doing the same for a bridal shower gift. The prices are unbelievably reasonable and the quality was great. No waiting days for delivery or completion.

Dan and Alex were amazing. We traveled 7 hours for my sons senior pictures. Dan took the pictures that evening and stayed late to edit so we could view them with Alex the next morning. The pictures were great and our order was shipped with a short amount of time. He rented golf carts for my sons golf photos. One of the best experiences I've had with son before he left for collage.

Susan framed two pieces for me as a memorial to our beloved dog. I am not very good at visualizing completed pieces and was very little help in guiding the process. She was very gentle, asked great questions and made two unique and beautiful pieces for us to remember our Casper. They are both prominently displayed in our home and are a source of joy and comfort. I would trust Susan to care for and create beautiful pieces for anything I want to hold preserve and hold dear. Thank you Susan!

What a great team building experience. Jason was outstanding! Our small group was blown away how Jason took care of teaching our novice team to create! Great team building or a girls bonding experience, and couples date night or afternoon! A new event other than a wine and paint night! Can't wait to see what our finished products look like!

I had a rush job needed for submission to the MN State Fair. The piece I wanted framed was a large drawing done on an uneven and irregular surface. I emailed to ask if it sounded possible and Michael gave me the impression that it could indeed be done. I brought my artwork over the next morning and Tim was able to quickly recommend frame and matte that would meet my needs and fall within my budget. This was on Wednesday morning and I needed to pick up the piece by Sunday. Tim couldn't give a guarantee, not knowing what might come up with his supplier, unexpected paper issues, etc. The piece was finished by Friday afternoon, and it looks amazing! Carter Avenue Frame Shop now has my business for future framing needs! Great job! UPDATE: My artwork sold at the fair for a fine amount. Again, great work on the framing!

Met Robin today when I took my ipad in to be checked. Expecting bad news but she cheerfully check it and told me it had a bit more life left in it. Yes I will need to replace it but not right away. Thanks for everything and your honesty. Will return and suggest their services to others.

Matt Philleo has an excellent educational program for those interested in painting realistic portraits using acrylics. I have been receiving instruction from Matt for less than a year and I am so very happy with the progress I have made so far. I have a lot more to learn. The critiques to me have be very helpful. I have used his glazing techniques on other art I have done and love the luminosity effect it has. Matt is a fantastic educator.
