Empire provisions is the delivery menu for Bird Dog. (It's the same place) We got the fried chicken sandwich, mac n cheese, and biscuits. The fried chicken sandwich was really good. The mac n cheese and biscuits were also great.
I went here on a Friday night with my parents and brother. Our meal was very delicious. I ordered chicken, my mom had salmon, my dad had lamb, and my brother had steak. Each protein was cooked to perfection. The space is clean, our waitress was very kind and lovely. There are no critiques other than the lack of a liquor license but you can BYOB. It was not packed and I am shocked. This is a lovely space with a charming atmosphere and music, delicious food, and good service. Please try it soon, you’ll be glad you did. Oh, and did I mention our bread was served with strawberry butter? I had never heard of such a thing - there were fresh strawberries in the butter. This was incredible! I want to try it at home. A new take on a spread.
Love this place. So nice to select what you want to eat at whole foods and then sit down. A nice seating area.
This place is the one I like best. I visit many restaurants but to this place I go the most. The crew is very amicable and the cooking they offer is so good. I am always happy to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.
Empas!!! Soooo good!!! We got them delivered and they came very neatly and securely packed. All we had to do is put them on a baking tray, stick them in the oven and mins later we had mouth-watering empanadas served. The ham and cheese ones and spinach and portobello ones are absolutely a must try. The website is great, so many flavors, I can't wait to try them all.
It was hard to find an excuse to leave this lovely hotel. From the fun rooftop bar, to the beautiful Lindens restaurant, it was all a great NY experience. The cocktails were balanced and aromatic, you would hard-pressed to find better. The dinner did not disappoint, I couldn’t stop eating the gnocchi and the ravioli was impossible not to love.
A limited menu but all dishes were exceptional. The humus was a great appetizer and both th salmon and pork were delicious.. we didn’t have to wait long for our order and the service was exceptional. Thank you for coming to our neighborhood !
Our meal at Wicked Jane was excellent! The service was top notch. The setting was modern and lively but not too loud or hectic. The dishes were creative, beautifully plated, and tasted great with some really interesting uses of seafood. The somm was knowledgeable and made great recommendations even though we didn't do the full pairing. Maybe my only critique would be that the dining room was a little bare and could have more of a theme or be more eye-catching (the Michelin people seem to love stuff like that) but outside of that single element, the night was essentially flawless. Wicked Jane definitely deserves more buzz in the NYC food scene. Thanks for the great night to all involved!
Fantastic Italian style deli sandwiches. Hot and cold. Sausage, peppers and onions are like your grandmother's. Worth every penny.
They have Halal patties.. they have turkey bacon.. combo specials under dollars every day.. you can choose redbull instead of soda for no extra charge.. you can take your burger and waLk 2 blocks to nd street to eat in the public seating area across from the harold
Seriously, if you are even remotely doubting this place you need to get your act straight. This place has some of the best seafood I've ever tried at prices that won't hurt your wallet. The lobster mac and cheese is simply delicious, with generous amounts of lobster. The service was exceptional as well.
Came for drinks and was happily surprised by the food! The fried chicken is super crispy, the yucca fritters were enjoyable, the basil fried rice is very flavorful and slightly 🌶, the pork buns were soft and tasty but the the bun was a bit moist. The drinks were great, and the restaurant has a chill lounge vibe. Overall this East Village spot is definitely worth a try!
