Recently completed my PPL training with Hayward Flight. It took me less than 6 months as a full time college student who was also working a part time job. The experience was a very pleasant one and expectations were set in the beginning of my training. The instructors are some of the best people I've met. They are very accommodating to your schedule and are dedicated to aviation and have combined decades and thousands upon thousands of hours of flying. None of them are chasing hours so you will always have continuity with whichever instructor you decide to start your training with. There were no delays in my training besides external factors that were uncontrollable such as weather cancels. Instructor schedule and airplane availability were never a problem throughout my training. Both the ground and the flight portions of the training were of high quality and I was always excited learning new things as I ventured into general aviation. Their fleet is well maintained by dedicated mechanics and the instructors themselves that will never have you second guess safety. Hayward Flight is one of the best flight schools in the Bay Area that offer quality training, competitive rates, and instructors that want to see you succeed.

I have been taking lessons with Keston and Garrett at Mountain Lion for 7 months, with over hours in the air + ground school time. They are extremally knowledgeable and great pilots. They also know how to teach those skills and in a manner that makes it stick. I come from a world of Skydiving (seen a lot) and have complete trust in them.
