"I took my wife here last year as a mother's day gift and I just never got around to writing this review but overall the place is nice and looks very classy, my wife loved her cleansing facial but the only downside was the service.. My wife had never been to a place like this before so she had some questions and concerns just because she was kind of nervous and the girls at the desk started laughing at her and talking about her as soon as they led her into another room. I think they didn't realize I was still standing around the corner. We really didn't appreciate that at all."

"For my mom's th birthday, I scheduled a head to to toe package at the Woodhouse at the Rim in San Antonio which was prepaid with gratuity. After her service, she was charged individual rates rather than the package rate. She called embarrassed to let me know about the situation. I immediately spoke with the receptionist and she recognized the mistake and overcharge stating that they had multiple complaints today as a result of the after hours service support staff. The receptionist took my wrong information which I again corrected. Shortly after, my mom let me know she forgot her very special earrings there while getting her treatment. I immediately called the staff who stated that it was not there and that I should ask my mom to look in her purse. Confirming it was not there, I called to asked that they check the premise again and email me there policy on missing/stolen items. After confirming my email and assuring me that it would be immediately emailed, the policy still has not been provided. I am horrified that my mom spent her th birthday celebration overcharged for a treatment that should have been prepaid by me only to leave with missing jewels that she trusted was safe to take off during her treatment. So sad."

"So disappointed with the front girls staff, I arrived min early on a Sunday at : noon to enjoy a cup of tea before my massage. They asked me 5 minutes later, if I was ready for my massage ~Massage went great, afterwards I went back to shower at the lockers, and they were out of shower dispenser soap. I notified them, and they proceeded to bring me back some cheap Dove soap. If I go to your Spa and you are selling high end Spa products in the entrance paying station, I expect some high Spa end soap. This place has been going downhill over the years. I have been going to this location for the past years."

"Upon arrival front desk person stated my appointment was canceled with a very nonchalant attitude! I ask if I can see someone else due to the fact I just drive minutes she said Noone else was available still looking at me as if my money and time was worthless. After going back and forth with rescheduling I decided to cancel this lady seemed relieved when I canceled .I felt discriminated and disrespected 😪"

"Do I wanted to get a massage so I called and made the appointment here at Wood House Spa at the Rim. I specifically asked for a massage from a female therapist. I get there early as requested and sitting in the waiting room and they come out and give me a male therapist so I kindly said I think there’s been a mistake and I would like to have a female therapist as requested and then they come back a couple minutes later and tell me they have nobody available on staff. This is so disappointing to go to a high-end area and to a place that I’ve been before and had a such a great experience and yet completely derailed my next experience. So disappointed…"
