"My buddy bought a , dollar mill, and he couldn't even get a t shirt from them. That tells me what kind of business they run. I hope the saw mill runs better than the way they operate there business."
"So we bought a wm about 8 months ago and its such a fragile machine. I just want everyone to know that woodmizer equipment is fragile and finicky which even one of their techs told me that it was finicky. But the worst part of woodmizer is dealing with the customer service people of the parts and technical support department. So rude and not helpful at all. One of the techs today answered the phone and while I was explaining the issue we were having with the saw he put me on hold again and didn't even tell me. We have also ordered for parts and not gotten them. I will say that going forward from here my company will never buy a brand new woodmizer or any equipment from this company."
"I ordered my mill at the end of April and was given an August 9th delivery date. The date for manufacturing was pushed back to Oct 6th. This is understandable due to the massive backlog of orders for parts across all industries. The fine people of Wood-Mizer are doing very well with the materials and shipping they have access to and available. Customers must take the global shortfall in the supply chains and not be jerks to the staff. They would love to be able to get you mill out in a few weeks after ordering, but it is logistically impossible. So when you are whining about the delay in getting your new mill, it's not Wood-Miser's fault. Don't call the company and be an abusive spoiled brat to whosoever happens to answer your call. Yes, my mill took an extra 8 weeks to get. Yes, some parts were back ordered but soon arrived via UPS. My salesman was most helpful as was the receptionist. The loader pulled all of my parts and got them in the trailer without a hitch. I was in and out in minutes. Overall, I found communication with the staff to be easy and friendly. Sending hate mail to your salesperson, or venting your frustration on the receptionist may just not be the best policy."
"Very poor customer service and communications. I order my sawmill the middle of January. Was told weeks until shipment. That time passed, no notification or communication. I called was told it would be another weeks due to parts delay. Left multiple voicemails with sales rep. never got a single return phone call. That time passed and again no communication. Called again and was told the same thing another weeks. My sawmill arrived a little over a week ago. The way they packed for shipment was terrible. Parts rubbing together wearing through to bare metal. Gas cap was torn off tank, fixable, by the parts stacked on top. Called asking for some compensation or resolution. No one will ever call back and those answering the phones are left hanging with no upper management support. They really have lost their quality in their lower end units. I will make this one work but won't buy another one unfortunately."
"Horrible company! My husband and I have had so many issues with this horrible place. The sawmill we bought almost 5 years ago broke from day one, it kept braking over and over and over again. They didn't even bother to send someone to our house to fix it, they just assumed that my husband is a mechanic expert and that he would figure it out on his own... It is a pain in the rear to get blades sharppeend so we finally purchased a machine to do it ourselves and once again! They disappointed us terribly... No body even bothered telling my husband that Friday's are short ohours.. so one of his guys drove almost 4 hours only to find out that there was no one to teach them how to use the new machine ... We're beyond angry and disappointed... Do not buy from them! Their costumer service people are beyond rude!"
