The beach trail was flooded so we were not able to access it, this was disappointing as we had to trek back through "mosquito alley". No wildlife to be seen but overall nice trails with good markers!

Such a beautiful place to visit. Great area to hike with the whole family! Come with a good pair of hiking boots if you go up the hill. Otherwise you can stroll around the wetlands. We spotted a beautiful Heron on our last visit! There is a geocache there too. As well as a Pokémon Go gym for the kids!

Tons of birds and other wildlife. The cutthroat trail is easily accessible and a great spot to stretch your legs. The upper loop has some beautiful views but might be a bit much for beginners or young kids. Bathrooms have been closed for over a year.I wouldn't spend all day here, but it's worth a look if you're in the area.

Hiked the Porter Point loop trail from the south bay section trail head. It was nice to see a change of scenery from the beach. We saw a bobcat on the drive in. The hike is on a forest road with some clear cut areas but most was fairly remote coastal forest land.
