"This was my first time interacting with anyone at West Photo. I was recommended to call West Photo after contacting Cinequipt regarding cleaning equipment. Cinequipt was professional, courteous and offered alternative solutions. West Photo on the other hand was not. I contacted them regarding sensor cleaning equipment to which the person I spoke to didn't know what brand of they used, then checked and verified they use the same product I was calling about. I asked if he had any issues with the product in the past and he became very passive aggressive and rude repeating that they use the product everyday after he didn't even know which it was in the first place. Regardless of if it's used everyday, I would think you would be able to give me an honest opinion of your experience without being rude. The customer service quality did not meet my expectations after just speaking with another local store that was courteous. Unfortunately, I will not be bringing my business back to West Photo."

"I've rented lenses here on 4 different occasions and I've always had a fantastic experience! To get the best bang for your buck, I recommend picking up a lens on a Friday - you'll pay the 1 day rate but won't have to return it until Monday. If you rent during the weekday, they're also pretty generous with the pickup/return window, but it's not quite as long as the weekend. Rental prices are very reasonable - I'm typically paying $ for the lens that I want. If you're a Sony shooter, I'd highly recommend trying out the mm 1.2 - I was astounded by it (and now I want to buy it!) The employees are friendly and helpful. I'm so glad I discovered this store."

"Rental prices are affordable. Not a lot of stock due to... You know, the pandemic and places not making products and shipping from Japan and other countries being limited. But staff was great and I look forward to a lens purchase!!"
