Here are some reviews from our users.
"I work at a preschool nearby and absolutely love to wander around Walt's during my break. I've bought air plants, indoor plants, native plants, and outdoor plants (both decorative and edibles) and all have been healthy! The employees are always very helpful and friendly. They even help me find plants that are safe for my classroom and my pets at home. :) I just bought *a lot* of soil from Walt's today, and they helped me figure out how much I'd need (and what types)."
"Fantastic local garden store (with a few gift-y type items, too). Super helpful, friendly, and conscientious. Not a big place but a great place."
"I buy my soft rock phosphate from Walt's. It is only roch phosphate in town year and deep into season. Great for tomatoes!"
"Walt's came out yesterday and decimated our yard. We've used them for more than 7 years now. They do not come on a schedule. Sometimes, it's months between visits. Other times, it's weeks. Once, it was days. I was mostly okay with that, but the past couple of years, they got very inconsistent. VERY. But yesterday was the last straw. The star jasmine that was 4 feet across and three feet high? It's now a stump with one trailing vine on a lattice. The rosemary bushes which were easily the size of VERY LARGE dogs? Now they're barely 6 inches wide and maybe a foot tall. Guess we won't be using THOSE to cook with anymore for a good year. Same with the lavender. The sage is practically gone. The roses were pruned YESTERDAY down to almost nothing. They took at least 6 very large branches off of the rhodie in our front yard. The rhodie that was already budding and about to bloom. Every single plant or bush we have on our property is now a shadow of its former self. It's spring. Everything's blooming. Pretty sure that's gardening . Don't prune a plant back to nothing when it's in bloom? It was bad enough they never came on a schedule. It was bad enough they never bothered to care that I'd asked them more than once not to use a leaf blower on our property. This? This is unacceptable. We were home the entire time. How hard would it have been to knock on the door and ask. "Hey, we'd like to prune all these plants way back. That okay with you?" What's EVEN WORSE THAN THAT? THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE. And yes, I complained then. They took a FRUITING berry plant and cut half of it away. WITH FRUIT ON IT. And yes, they promised they'd ask next time. Apparently that promise meant nothing. Worst yet, I called them and left them a voicemail this morning. It's been six hours now and they haven't called me back. I am emphatically DIS-RECOMMENDING Walt's Organic."
"Friendly knowledgeable, awesome. I went to Walt's organic fertilizer store hoping to find his old formula but I picked up what they recommended my friend recommended me to go here. I'm glad I checked it out. I'll be back next year for my spring, summer crops."
