The spaghetti squash and zucchini dish is amazing delicious. My husband had the eggs Benedict and they were fantastic. I love it so much I have gone twice in a week. Service was excellent but slow because they were short staffed. Definitely would recommend

I dined at Village Tavern here in South Park this evening and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Stephanie provided a positively unforgettable experience! She was kind, funny, personable and on point with all aspects of our dinner from drinks to the appetizer and then our entrees. This is hands down the best experience I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. Stephanie you are amazing, thank you for making tonight even more magical!! 💖😊

My partner and I drive 40 minutes from north Charlotte to come here. This is the most consistent restaurant we go to and it is absolutely worth the drive!! The salmon tacos are to die for, we get them with the baked mac and cheese and the (super thin and crispy) fries. The chicken spring rolls are amazing with the sauce trio! We’ve never been disappointed with any of the food or the service. My one ‘complaint’….I miss their apple cobbler (that understandably went away during Covid). Best dessert I’ve ever had

I thoroughly enjoyed everything that served. The rye whiskey Old Fashioned was very smooth, perfect pre-meal drink. The bread service was delicious. The bacon wrapped scallops were the perfect appetizer. The butcher steak that we ordered was a perfect medium, very soft and tender. The chicken teriyaki was awesome too, great proportions of everything. Too full for desert this time. Would definitely recommend, and am definitely coming back!

Yesterday was my first time at Village Tavern. I was there for a group brunch event. We were offered tea while we waited for others to join. I had the chamomile tea. I enjoyed it & plan to see if I can purchase the brand myself. I drank mine as-is. If you want sweeteners, you'll need to ask for it. Others in my group enjoyed the peppermint tea but had to ask for honey. I ordered the ham & cheese omelet and the crab cake. Being a MD girl, I tend to judge restaurants by their crab cakes. They passed. Most restaurants in the south have more bread than crab meat. This was straight crab meat; it could've used a little Old Bay or mustard, but those are my personal preferences. The omelet was great & filling. It came out hot, but I was able to enjoy it right away. The omelet came with hashbrowns, but they were just fried potatoes w/a few onions, imo. They were good. The omelet also came with a blueberry muffin. My only take away, there seemed to be stains in both the mug & the water cont...

I was too busy talking that I didn't notice it until I'd already drank the tea. If the containers are just stained, no problem. Unfortunately, the stains give the appearance of dirty containers. A few people made substitutions for their orders. Someone ordered a Benedict & didn't realize the middle of the eggs weren't cooked when our server mentioned that the eggs were fried. He apologized. She wanted the same order but with scrambled eggs. Someone ordered sweet potato fries but didn't want all of the sugar. She ordered regular fries instead. The server was pleasant the entire time. Would definitely return on my own."
