Good beer selection. Friendly staff, fairly knowledgable. 'Best fries in NYC' were very good (best? Maybe, maybe not.....maybe best without truffle fla la la hipster additions). Everything was at least good. Give it a try.

Great beer selection and service! Not sure why it’s called Valhalla though as other than couple of cool decor items there didn’t seem to be anything very viking about the place in either food, music, or drinks (aside from offering two meads on tap!). What you should not miss are the fries!!!! They say they are the best in NY on the menu and I might concur! Perfectly crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside with just the right amount of salt. Fried pickles were really good too and the sliders were well-seasoned. Recommended! (And seriously! Order the fries!!)

Great service, nice variety of beers. Fries that come with the beef sliders are nice and crispy. Super nice people. I forgot my bag and they held it until I could come in the next day.
