Been going to the little Italy location for decades. Most recently, pretty mediocre experience. Food/coffee/sweets all very good. Service was slow and disinterested. Seemed like customers were an inconvenience. We ordered, paid, and waited for 30 mins. One employee helping couple after couple while we wait for him to eventually make our food? Other employees appear from the back but don't seem to be involved in food prep? Just carrying dishes/containers and taking calls. Darn I thought they would help push the orders out. Oh well. I'll just be waiting silently for 30 minutes while my 5 minute ticket is ignored? Delayed? Bumped for priority? No updates or communication from the employees as they bounce around doing odd jobs. Not that we asked for updates, as we don't want to seem rude or pushy. Maybe it would have helped?

This was one of the most terrible cappuccinos I had in my life. Terrible service and we were forced to pay 8 dollars for a cappuccino that was undrinkable and I didn't even have more than a tiny sip. The blond girl has no idea how to make a cappuccino and she was extremely rude. She brought a boiling drink with no foam with dripping down wiped cream and said that I have to pay for this because she made it correctly. I hope the management will read my comment and train the staff how to work. I would give a NEGATIVE STAR review if there was an option.

It’s rare that we leave a negative review but we hope to help others not to get terrible service, and help the owners with their staff and product. We ordered two cappuccinos and two pastries. First of all, the prices are different for the sit down menu, which is strange, but I guess the owners are trying to offset the costs. Second of all, when the cappuccinos arrived, they were boiling hot and clearly not made correctly - when the milk is boiled instead of steamed, it becomes sour, and it won’t froth without correct technique - not a very difficult technique to master. The ratio of milk to coffee was wrong as well - it was about 10oz of milk to a shot of espresso. It seems odd that the folks in coffee business would not know a typical proportion of beverages. What really struck us the most is that the waitress was rude and refused to address the problem, and aggressively told us “oh you’re paying for this because I made it how it should be!”. In no way this is the way to run a bu...

Long wait, with only one employee waiting on customers (15 people behind us and the couple in front of us getting 12 handmade cannoli's, cream puffs, and drinks). Finally another employee started waiting on the rest of us. The Italian Chocolate Coconut cookies were stale and difficult to bite into. Used to be a good place, with bustling workers.
