My experience with any VA department is almost always the same. What ever you need to get completed always gets done, it just takes forever. When ever I go I always plan to spend the day there. sometimes it doesn't take that long but it normally does. I served my country and the VA takes good care of me and my family. They just do it at their speed. Even when you get a really helpful associate when you walk into the regional office, It still needs to get submitted and the waiting process starts again. I will say since I moved to Washington they do move a lot faster than I experienced prior to living here.

Horrible place with horrible untruthful staff whom make up lies as they go along. Did you know they believed a malicious and frivolous statement from an ex family member who had an influential family of theirs let them dodge the Vietnam draft by removing them from the lottery, yet when it comes to believing veterans with actual physical recordings, they ignored them. Or when one has 90 days to provide evidence, instead they make a decision 14 days later thus causing hell.

For many years I’ve put off taking care of some paperwork simply because I didn’t want to deal with the hassle and trying to explain everything. Thanks to recent life changes it became absolutely necessary so I sought out the local VA office. After reading some of the Google reviews I had really low expectations and was prepared for the absolute worst. When I arrived I quickly found myself pleasantly surprised as I was assisted by a gentleman named George who was extremely friendly and was most helpful in getting my paperwork in order and we had some nice conversation in the process. Apparently he’s new to this office and despite that he was very knowledgeable and I was in and out in a flash. Thank you George for the exemplary service today!!!

Made an appointment to file a disability claim where I assumed I would have been able to sit down with someone and start the process. I was basically told to go to the 10th floor and just ask anyone at any of the departments to help me. This process is discouraging enough and I have being tossed around like that. I go to the Disabled American Veterans department to see if they were able to help. The woman by the door was extremely rude and was clearly annoyed that I was there. I started having an anxiety attack and I had to leave. I drove all the way to Seattle just to get absolutely no where with my process.
