If I could give this place a negative 100 billion stars I would. I just literally had the most unpleasant, uncomfortable and to put it simply, abusive shopping experience I have ever had, by the GM I found out of all people. After she asked me to put my backpack behind the counter which okay I understand however it was so full it was obvious I couldn't fit anything else in it so was pretty redundant, she Continued to follow me at a five foot distance while I shopped. I turned to her and confronted her on it and she was speaking to me in the most aggressive, rude and uncomfortable tone I've ever had someone in retail do, with her argument when I pointed it out being"i don't need you telling me how to do my job, if you don't like it you can leave, how about that", when all I did was ask her to give me a little more space because she was making me uncomfortable and practically breathing down my neck and I hadn't made any behavioral cues that I was in there to shoplift at all. She straight...

Here’s a scathing review for store manager “Amber” & for a store we've been loyal to for 7 yrs. Gear, clothing, skis, boards - I’ve bought it here but we will never return & they just lost thousands of our future biz. (We're a family of skiers & ski meadows many times a week.) We recently bought my youngest $70 goggles & they promptly broke first time out. I returned to store to exchange & first amber accused my 9 yr old of improper use. Hey Amber - she’s been skiing since she was 3. She skis hard blues - she can handle goggles! Secondly Amber informed me she could do nothing other than return the broken pair & we would have to wait 10 biz days to get new pair. I explained we don't have other goggles & we’re skiing all wknd. I begged a loaner, credit or refund. AMBER WAS BEYOND CURT AND UNHELPFUL & offered no solutions. I then explained that over $70 retail goggles she was about to lose our biz permanently. Amber didn't care & wished me a “Good day!’ So I left, drove 10 min to EVO - WH...

By far the best outdoor store in the city. Honestly I think this might just be my favorite store in Portland period. The staff is extremely friendly and happy to help with any questions you have, but if you just want to roam and explore they understand and give you space. They seem to have everything. I never write reviews but I was compelled after the store and the sales guy just gave me such a good vibe.

We got a full snowboard set-up for my husband last week. Having Adam help us was like taking a personal class on the right / new tech and trends coming down the pipe after about 10 years out of the sport. His advice about boot fit made me rethink my own boots and it's going to make a world of difference. We have already been back and will be again.

This place is great! Amazing deal on some Prana shorts. It seems like a small space at first, but they've got a great selection of outdoor clothing. I went to REI and Patagonia first and couldn't find what I was looking for, then found it here.

She straight up looked like she was going to hit me, between the look on her face and her posturing I felt my safety was at risk and had to leave the store. I literally left in tears. I wish I had more I could do besides leave this review. Yeah the inventory is great but I literally just got intimidated and attacked and threatened till I left the store for no reason. I am clean kept, have clean clothes, and look respectable by anybody standards, I never deserved being treated that way. That women is seriously unstable and had I met her attitude I truly believe she would have gotten physical with me."

Amber didn't care & wished me a “Good day!’ So I left, drove min to EVO - WHERE EVERYONE SHOULD GO!!! — got excellent service buying $ sale goggles... only to have AMBER CALL ME & SAY SHE CALLED HER REP AND COULD REPLACE TODAY IF I ONLY DROVE BACK. Are you kidding??? You couldn’t have done that as a small, local biz while I was in the store??? RUN DON’T WALK TO EVO! Cheaper too."
