FAQ:
"We came in from London with connecting flight to San Francisco. With 2+ hours and only carry-on, we missed our flight. The border patrol is so slow and so disorganized, and so inefficient, it made me ashamed to be American."
"Still waiting a month for a parcel to clear customs."
"Called for an expedited passport 4 weeks in advance of a trip. The agent said, “to call back when you’re exactly two weeks out from your travel date - we can’t book appointments until then.” Fast forward to 8:am exactly two weeks from the flight and they informed me that they only had a renewal appt on the day of my travel…after my flight was set to take off. I changed my flight to later in the afternoon. Day of said appt, I arrived at 8: for my 8:am appt and they said they wouldn’t be able to print my passport until 3pm even after paying the express fee, calling almost daily to check for cancellation spots… I’m enraged!! Missing a second (!!) flight and losing out on our now non-refundable stay. I realize travel is a privilege, that there are MUCH larger problems in the world, but my tired heart is sad and very disappointed."
"I went in to get an expedited passport renewal. Everyone was extremely helpful even though my situation was non-conventional (wasn't the normal reasons for expedition). Leslie in particular was an absolute angel. She was beyond kind and thoughtful, and helped me through the process. I made an appointment ahead of time and highly recommend it due to the very long lines for the walk-ins. Thanks so much again to Leslie!"
"An awful experience, and evidently not the only one going through this."
