Shawn Stariha was the owner of True North Glass. His company installed two windows and did such a poor, messy job that ice condensation forms around the edges. He set up a reinstall for when the weather was warmer, but didn’t show up to redo the windows . I found out all his numbers go to a new glass company, Total Glass Professionals, who say they have no knowledge of him. He let his contractor license expire a month before he set up the reinstall appointment. So he knowingly lied and mislead me. The Attorney General has sent letters to him, and he saw my FB message to his (now defunct) company’s page concerning this matter.

I had scheduled True North to come out to my house last Thursday. Not only did they fail to show, I received no call for an explanation. Subsequent email and message on their phone number have gone unreturned. Very unprofessional.

I had 6 residential panes replaced. Overall the experience was positive and the price was reasonable. I fully intend to do business with them again. I would recommend them to my friends. Negative: Initial measurements of two windows were wrong. The installer caught this mistake and arranged to correct the issue without my intervention. I have heard that estimator is now elsewhere. I was not charged for the wrong sized glass. Positive: The estimator was professional and arrived within the agree upon window of time. Though see above. The installers were great! Joel especially blew me away. I politely asked to watch his work as I know nothing about windows. I stayed out of his was and as he worked he pointed out lots of details about windows and issues to look out for. Due to his explanations and watching his work I feel very confident in the quality of the installation and materials.

Probably the worst customer service and experience I have ever experienced. And being in business 50 years, we've dealt with alot of companies. First off they had trouble measuring/installing the pane of glass for our building in May 2016. 5 months after its installed, it cracks basically from top to bottom. The rep comes out to inspect. 3 weeks later no word from them so I call. They tell me the crack was caused from the heated sign leaning against it. We own no such sign. Then the lady answering the phone tells me she will call the manufacturer and check warranty and call me. Too cowardly to call, she sends me an email saying cracks in the glass aren't covered. They know it was installed incorrectly(it took them over 5 hours to install). Trouble from the beginning and they refuse to stand behind their service and product. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE. This 2 year old business should be ashamed in how they handled this.
