I called the sister shop and they said this one deals more high end stuff. There was nothing worth looking at in this shop, the best acoustic there was an Alvarez, and they even lowballed my trade in. The dude in charge was pretty standoffish and unhelpful from the get-go, played a mean lick on my guitar though, Ill give him that.

These guys are my go-to whenever I need strings, cables, or just wanna look at whatever weird stuff they have. Service has always been friendly and courteous, they're always willing to haggle, and they pay well for used stuff compared to anywhere else I've been in the area. On that last point, there's a lot of reviews here and on The Other review site complaining about getting lowballed on used gear. In my experience, Trade Up offers better-than-average prices compared to places like Guitar Center and other music shops in the area. Standard rate is usually about 50% of the price they sell it at. Trade-Up always gets me about 60-65%, and more if you go for store credit. No, I'm not going to get the same price I would as if I listed it on Reverb, but I also don't have to worry about listing it, packing it, shipping it, and dealing with the potential of some angry dude from Kansas who's mad because UPS broke his pedal. Trade Up is great, don't listen to the people who don't understand h...

Such an AWESOME shop and the guys there are super nice and very helpful! Tom helped me find a guitar for my 8 year old daughter. Super chill dude who just showed me what's up, wasn't trying to over sell me or be pushy, hooked me up with a really good deal for guitar, amp, cords, straps and picks. Highly recommend this place! They have a ton of sweet instruments... keyboards, guitars, mandolins, eukelele(sp?), trombones... They have it all. Thanks guys!

If you want a ukulele, you NEED to go here!! ..: and lots of other instruments don’t get me wrong! I bought some microphones and the gentleman spent a long time with me and was very helpful. A good place to support our local businesses rather than always buying online.
