The customer service is top tier. I am a vegetarian and they made multiple changes to the rolls for me, it tasted AMAZING, very reasonable price and very friendly. Go here for sushi!!!

I dunno, some people see "burnt", I see grilled. It's like some folks have never eaten grilled meats before. Case in point, Toshiko now serves an awesome char siu pork bun that has wonderful blackened grill lines all across it. That's all flavor country right there. It just wouldn't taste the same without them. So, long live the grill! P.S. I just visited my other go-to sushi restaurant downtown, Umi, and now I remember why I prefer to eat at Toshiko. Toshiko chills their wakame salad, unlike Umi. It's the difference between refreshing and slimy and unpleasant. Note to chef: Maybe think about cutting the tako into smaller slices. The meat is quite tough and chewy to eat in the same portions as the maguro or sake. Also, I think it tastes better when lightly boiled in a brine.

Dragon roll and tiger roll were awsome! Seafood ramen was excellent too! I love the cozy atmosphere here compared to other large sushi restaurants where it's packed with so many people waiting to get seated. We'll be back!!!

Really enjoyed eating here. Very cozy spot with the kitchen and hard working chefs in view. Food was very good and friendly service. Benito flakes are interesting. Great lunch with bae.

Food overall was good, but not great. The broth, however was very good. The service was very slow. I waited with an empty coke glass for 10 minutes and finally alerted the waiter, and they were not busy. The restaurant was very clean and I would try other menu items, but this place ranks low for restaurants I want to re-visit.
