"The learning material is straight forward. They teach you what you need to know, and give you lots of practice with exercises. This school offers "Live Projects" where you get real world coding experiences and can interact with other students, and instructors. The instructors are fantastic, helpful, and kind. The whole school cares a lot about you being successful and landing a job, as they will prepare you very well to get a job and teach you all about the necessary information that you need to know. I highly recommend this school if you want to learning a programming language, or multiple!"

"The Tech Academy offers the perfect boot camps to prepare you for a job in the tech industry. They offer more background information on computers and technologies than I received with my 2 year degree. % WOULD RECOMMEND! TTA provides so much background information to help you understand how and why things work. They offer great support for students. The 2 week internship at the end of the program and job placement course are invaluable! I really didn't have any cons! Any problems I came across in the program I was able to solve given the tools provided by TTA or by being directly assisted by one of the many instructors."

"I was a student in the Software Development bootcamp. During that time I learned the foundations of Python, JavaScript, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, Django, .NET, and version control. Personally, I liked that so much was covered because now that I am job searching I see many languages and frameworks that I at least have a basic understanding of. The Tech Academy was self paced which was new for me but I am very happy with how it turned out. I was able to progress well and also take time off if I needed. There were a string of days where I got the flu and needed rest, and I was able to do that and not fall behind. The instructors are very help both before and during the live projects. The live projects were later in the bootcamp and were a great hands on experience that I will be able to talk about in interviews and build upon. Pros: Compared to many bootcamps, TTA was cost effective. Self paced curriculum allows you to take time off if needed. Friendly and helpful instructors/staff. Cons: I was a student in Eastern Standard Time and they are based in Portland, Oregon. However, this was rarely an issue. I only had 4 or 5 instances where I got stuck first thing in the morning over a 5 month period."

"This is an amazing bootcamp. I learned so much in a very short period of time and I got my dream job right after graduating! The material is great, it's an affordable bootcamp (really a crazy value compared to other bootcamps) with fantastic and readily available instructors that really care. I loved that it was self-paced and remote so I could fly through some material and take my time on other material and I could easily fit it around my personal life. Everything about my experience was absolutely ideal and I am so glad I went with The Tech Academy!"

"I am grateful for this program every day of my new career! The program was fantastic! Everything builds up to get you familiar to what you will be doing on the job. The best part of this program was the live projects. It gives you some hands-on real working experience to talk about in the interviews. The job placement course forced me to get out of my comfort zone and start applying. It was hard! But the job placement team was so helpful and encouraging! If there was anything I would change it would be taking more time to learn the parts that wasn't coding. Coding was the fun part so that was my focus, but now I wish I'd slowed down to understand more of the terminology, took more notes. Because once your subscription is up all that information is inaccessible. Sure, you can google it, but it isn't the same. Don't give up on the job search. Some company will give you a chance! Also, everything was on my time. I was working during the program and able to study during hours that I wasn't working. Very flexible for your schedule! I highly recommend The Tech Academy!"
