"The Smoking Goat really hits the mark! When you're looking for a hip, modern, and unique dining experience this is the place to go, and it's all packaged together with an incredible atmosphere. The semi-open-floor space is decorated with a collection of totally kitsch trinkets and books, and the Chill and Mingle vibe is very easy to catch. When we first got there, it was pretty empty, but by the time we were leaving, it was packed! Our server, Shawn, handled both levels of traffic with ease and brought our orders out very quickly. On top of everything else, the food is amazing!! I loved the octopus appy and had the goat cheese cheesecake (which was super rich!). Highly recommend!"
"Came here w my Dad & bro and loved it! Very good house Bordeaux, amazing 2 cheese plate, and one of the better steak & frites I’ve had in a while. The steak and frites is massive and you could easily split it between 2. The French onion soup & salad also looked great. Very friendly staff and cool vibes!"
"This restaurant exceeded our expectations. The French onion soup was really good. I’m not a big soup guy but would definitely get this again. The pork chop was honestly the best I’ve EVER had. Amazing flavor and tenderness. Seemed to be a really popular dish (they were flying out of the kitchen). For desert we had bananas fosters. A great dining experience. We will be back."
"My husband and I made last minute reservations through Open Table for right at opening at 5pm tonight //. We were the first party there and we were seated right where we requested without any issues. We had a cozy little corner to ourselves and it was just perfect. Sean was our amazing server for the evening and he was so helpful and descriptive when it came to the menu. He made sure to check in on us and and our water carafe was instantly replaced when we topped off the first one. I truly appreciated that he was forthcoming about menu items he particularly enjoys or are very popular. I personally don't like when employees beat around the bush when it comes to asking their opinions on certain dishes etc. so Sean was really was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Sean! You're very good at what you do! Also a shout out to the busser- he was on top of it tonight and so very polite. The service was just truly very good. All of the food was amazing tonight as well. We split a carafe of Argyle Pinot Noir that was very tasty. For starters we chose the Baked Brie and the Duck Liver Pate. Both plates were not only gorgeous but so delicious and fun to eat, especially the pate with all of its little pairings to mix and match flavors. My entree was the Duck à l'orange and it was just so tasty and beautiful to look at. I would highly recommend this dish! My husband chose the pork chop dish and it was also delicious and so very tender. We couldn't believe how giant that chop was too! He took the rest home to enjoy tomorrow because we were just so full and wanted to save room for dessert. I'm a sucker for crème brûlée so we had to split one even though we really didn't have the room! This is restaurant is a gem and so was the service. We will most definitely be returning very soon!
