I had a great experience at The Kibitz Room. My server was super friendly and attentive. There was barely any wait for food. All of the food was top notch (pastrami, brisket, potato pancakes, matzoh ball soup, baked treats, and of course the pickle bar). Seems to be a safe bet that anything you try there will be delicious. And all of the portions were very generous. Finally, the family that owns it were extremely hospitable. Brandon was very helpful in suggesting what to try. If you are in the area, I definitely suggest going- and if you’re not, you should make the trip. Now excuse me while I go buy a bigger belt.

Our server, a young dark-haired woman was so nice, attentive, friendly. Our Reuben was amazing! But the witch (older woman with lighter hair) at checkout dropped my rating from 5 stars to 3. If she were the only person I dealt with, I'd never go back!

I ordered salami and eggs with French fries and rye toast on a Saturday night at 5:30 pm to go. I paid with my credit card over the phone.I was told it would be 15 minutes. When I arrived I had to wait 5 minutes because they were busy. They asked what I ordered and I told them. The owner’s wife said she had my order and asked for my credit card. I said I gave the card over the phone because I left the actual card at home. She was very curt and said it would have been easier if I had the card. I paid and left. It took me only 15 minutes to get home and find that I was given the wrong order. I left immediately to return and tried to call the restaurant. I was put on hold and nobody answered my call before I arrived back at the store, 40 minutes after I picked up the original order. I walked in and told them I was given the wrong order and the lady that gave me the order laughed and said yes you got the Ruben. A really great way to treat a customer. I told them I wanted a new order not on...

After a great lunch with family, the experience was marred in the end by the cashier. Upon ordering, we asked for separate checks and was told that would be handled by the cashier. At that time, the cashier was rude & made it perfectly clear processing the bill this way was an inconvenience to HER. Remember, we did ask for separate checks. As each of us paid our portion of the bill, we each had to correct several mistakes on her part. After further discussion once home, we found more. We determined we were overcharged at least $20. For ownership reference, this is chk # 56248 and 56249. We were disappointed our meal ended this way.

Listen. Are you looking for a knish that reminds you of Mrs. Stahl’s in Brooklyn?? If you know, you know. We’ve looked high & low for the knish from my childhood. Light & flaky crust, a little buttery but not too much, with savory filling so good it’ll make your toes curl. It’s been 20+ years but we’ve finally found them here!! We tried the potato, spinach, and sweet potato and they were knish perfection!!! Thank you for sharing your delicious food with us - we’ll see you every Sunday! 😊

I told them I wanted a new order not one that was sitting for minutes. minutes later I asked if my order was ready and they said it was STILL sitting on the counter. They NEVER made up a new order. I asked for my money back and left the store. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THE KIBBUTZ ROOM. It was not the first time I had problems with that place, BUT it will be the last. They definitely should not be serving the public."
