"Ordered a mobile workbench from homedepot.com, and it was delivered from this store. I had went the prior day to check this out in person at this store and the one of the floor was damaged. This Home Depot decided it was a good idea to send out the clearly damaged bench anyways. When I contacted to return it, they came and picked it up, but did not return my delivery fee. I called and spoke to a very nice customer service rep at the store, and she put a note for the manager to refund it, but they never have. My Home Depot card only has that delivery fee on it, and it was due 3 days ago. I’m out $ but I will never be shopping from this Home Depot or any other Home Depot again. 4// Update: This store did eventually make it right, and get back to me. Updating the review to 2 stars for following through."
"Lost Order; Could not replace. So I placed an online order on 2//. It was a special order that had to come from Texas so I understood it would take some time to receive. ETA 3//. Well 3// came around, I didn't receive an email confirming it was in store. So 3// I called the store (Which is aggravating to get through all the automated prompts just to get ahold of an actual person.) to ask about the order. Lady at the store was very professional but told be it had not yet been received on site and was showing to still be at the CLT warehouse. So I gave it a few days and called back on 3//. Same story, wasn't at the store still showing to be at warehouse. So I gave it a few more days and called back 3//. Same story, so I asked for a number of someone I could call to get some help with the issue (Which again went through another set of automated prompts). Finally get ahold of a lady for HD Website Services, I explain the situation and not even 3 mins into the conversation we get disconnected... So I have to call back up there, get a new lady (who is unable to transfer me back to the first one), reexplain the whole situation and now I've been on the phone on 3// for over mins just trying to get some help... Website Services tells me the order was delivered to the store on 3/6/ and should be onsite. She was courteous enough to place me on hold and call the store back for me to find out what's going on. Apparently the store had misplaced the order and it was no longer on site. She then apologized and attempted to place a replacement order for me, but the items are no longer in stock anywhere. She ended up issuing me a refund for the order, but now I'm back to square one and I'm a month behind on the project.... The customer service reps were all professional but just the inconvenience of trying to get some help and being so far behind on the project is what landed a 2 star..."
"Our dryer decided to call it quits after years, and decided to go browse at Home Depot for a new one. Immediately was asked if I needed help, and was given a tour of what they had. Questions were answered, and learned a little about newer model washers and dryers. I ended up deciding to go ahead and purchase both a new dryer and washer. They made the process as painless as possible. Had both financing and credit card options which they kinda push on you a little bit, but is completely optional. Uses a third party delivery service which means another week at the laundromat:("
"Purchased a inch vanity with inside delivery room of choice. Courier-Fast Mile refused to bring it indoors .Contacted Home Depot customer service and they claimed they called the store and worked it out. The store would send some associates over to bring the vanity indoors. The store manager-Tom refused to send associates over despite customer service telling me that the store was committed to make it right. It was then my problem to resolve. Dishonest store manager and deceptive sales practices by Home Depot selling services that they will not honor. Buyer Beware. Would avoid Albermarle Road store in Charlotte NC and certainly not make a purchase if it involves delivery.since made similar purchase at Lowe’s with zero issues.Done with Home Depot."
"Went to Home Depot on Albemarle Rd I. Charlotte NC today and I must say……everyone was amazing we went for rocks and pavers. The young lady at the garden center check out was very nice. The gentleman that was working the garden center was busy so she called four other gentlemen to come help. Another lady working in the back brought us cold waters as we waited and when the gentleman came to load us up we’re very polite and introduced themselves and loaded us up with care. They all deserve recognition wish we had all their names or remembered their names. After this visit we are considering changing from shopping at Lowe’s to this Home Depot! Great job ladies and gentlemen!!!!"
