"There’s both very good and very bad about this place. I wish I would give them a 2.5 rating but since I can’t I’ll round up… I’ll start with the good and this is of course the impression that I had from them. They were very friendly and welcoming immediately upon entry. The store was so very modern, sleek, and clean. It has couches and TVs that make makes the place comfortable. That isn’t always the most common in hobby shops so it was pleasant to see The bad is very simple, prices. The inventory wasn’t even close to good and the boxes they did have available had nearly a 2x mark up! For example, the same box a competitor of theirs down the block sells for $- they sell for $+…. It’s such a turn off it makes you not ever want to go back. My advice- buy wholesale from D&A and offer something even remotely close to competitive pricing. Also- I believe this review to be fair and if so even too generous just because of how important pricing is to collectors. With that- I believe a handful of these reviews to be a little suspicious"

"Way over priced. The selection of cards they have is fair at best but the prices are redicilous. The Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh selection is Triple the price of Retail. This place buys Walmart/target stock and puts it in a fancy shop to justify selling it for triple the price. Their is another card shop a few blocks away that literally has prices % less than this place. They never have any new releases at retail. Just disappointed because it looks nice 😞"

"Owned By Resellers!!! Not a real card shop.Avoid I live on the same block as this shop and there is a reason why no one ever is inside. They have the highest prices I ever seen. They have one wall with just over priced slabs they get off eBay. They fill the wall with slabs because they can't get product to sell. I go to fort Hamilton to shop with E and J because this place is over priced. No one shops here they rip u off. They never have anything on release dates because they shop in other stores and than resell it. It's worked by a few guys who are extremely rude and dishonest. They are selling product they can't even explain to you. If anyone ever went here u will see. Other options all over NYC don't go here. Everything is above retail by % or more and the Pokemon selection is bad! Below are some of their prices on website. Buyer beware!!! They are ripping everyone off."

"I'm sick and tired of everyone being ripped off by this card shop. It's not ok to take advantage of people who don't know any better. You have ripped off my son for weeks on end and I would have never known until he told me what he paid. How do you make a living ripping off children and parents who don't know any better? Yes we want to support small businesses in the area which is why we shopped in this store. I will never ever allow my son back here again. Boxes which another shop sold of for $ this store charged us $. For a pack of cards a shop sold us for $3. they charged us $. This is not ok guys!! Do your research before shopping in this establishment. They present they are doing you a favor and pretend your getting a great deal. Buyer Beware!!! I spent yesterday holiday shopping in a different card store a few blocks away in the same area and the prices were % less If not more. I'm truly thinking of calling the better business bureau for this scam they are playing on children. Times are hard as is, it's not ok to rip people off!! I was nice enough to shop in your store with my son and you took full advantage of us. Never again!!! I found several other card shops which I will be shopping at instead. You should be ashamed of yourself."

"Bought a th anniversary elite trainer box for $ and this is what I pulled. The box inside was also damaged which was a little weird to me. The book’s corners were roughed up. One of the booster packs also had cards flipped backwards which I don’t know if it had been opened before. I most likely won’t be coming here anymore as it did give me a bad first experience at the store. I hope nobody else is as unlucky as me as well."
