Booked on Airbnb. Nice comfy room with all you need. The kitchen at 2nd floor is useful. Be careful, we had a room on the street side, bring earplugs with you as it's noisy (that's the only red point we see). Otherwise the price/location/quality ratio is excellent.

Hotel room is good, but the bar/restaurant service is the worst. We sat for almost 10 min in a bar with barely anyone in it waiting to get served so had to go to the bar. Then the guy ignored me while he served others at the bar. I normally stay at the Nikko so lesson learned. The hostess is the only reason I gave 2 stars.

Short staffed, and I understand why, but I was so disappointed when I didn't have clean sheets and towels upon arrival. I slept on top of the sheets with a clean blanket I had to ask for because the one that was in the room had a long nasty hair on it. Most uncomfortable sleep ever.

This place was very quiet, inexpensive and the staff was very nice to me. I was at UCSF to have surgery and enjoyed my stay. Took ucsf's mass transit which worked well and save money

The Bartlett Hotel and guesthouse is great inexpensive place well located as a launching point for visiting the city. My deluxe room with a private bathroom (Including a tub/shower) was clean, light and airy with large windows. The staff(Susan) was most welcoming and helpful throughout my 3 day stay. I would definitely stay here again. On the second floor is a full kitchen for cooking my own meals if I like. And coin operated washers and dryers. Filtered water dispenser.
