I really don’t like writing bad reviews and I’ve tried to give the benefit of the doubt BUT… The problems we had before we paid for this service were LESS than the problems we now have after the service. We still have black algae BUT NOW I have a high CYA, high calcium hardness, high copper, low alkalinity AND high Ph problem too. My CYA was perfectly fine before, but Miguel added more- why add more? It’s not something you can reduce easily. Now my CYA is too high and It’s keeping my chlorine from holding which means black algae survival. Miguel said he had a machine to do it but he didn’t come back or give any indication that the service was complete. Now I have to rent a machine to drain my pool and refill it. Over $300 for 99 problems. The lack of communication and late arrivals (by hours) were the cherry on top of a frustrating experience. I am happy to change this review if these problems are resolved.

I do not recommend using Miguel / Texas Pool Tech for maintenance or re-plastering of pool. They re-plastered our pool in April of 2021 and now in May of 2022 we have a large crack and many small ones. I contacted him in May and he said he would address it. It is now July and he does not respond to emails or texts. Now taking him to small claims court! Jeannie Hawkins

I would recommend Texas Pool Tech to anyone. Miguel made time at the end of a long, and extremely hot day, to come diagnose my problem (pump motor). He then had everything fixed and running early the next day. Miguel also had the opportunity to do a much more expensive repair, one that I had already given the 'ok' on if it had to be done. He did not end having to go the expensive route, even though he could have and knew it. To me that says more than anything. He is honest AND works hard AND does a good job. Good luck finding that anywhere else.

Highly recommend Texas Pool Tech! Very professional and knowledgeable in troubleshooting my Pool’s issues. Goes above and beyond to service our pool even when it’s not scheduled and we’ve needed get serviced for events. It’s a pleasure working with Miguel. Also has the best prices in town!

Super reliable, honest and comparable to competitors. I have no clue about pools. My regular pool guy was ignoring the signs of minor problems, which eventually caused my motor to blow out. Miguel was on time, and showed me what I needed to avoid long term issues. I researched and got different quotes, but Texas Pool Tech worked with me on what I was looking for based on price. Miguel really knows what he’s doing and definitely goes out of his way to guarantee customer satisfaction. I now feel at ease knowing that I can trust someone with my pool.
