When we started to shop for our rugs, we did not know much. We did go to few shops but only after visiting Texas Oriental Rugs, did we learn a lot about rugs but found the best quality ones. The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything about rugs and even asked us to take home the ones we liked without taking a penny or our credit card details. He told us to keep them for a week, check them out in the daytime & nighttime without any strings attached. This helped us select the best rug that goes without living room. This shop not only carries best quality rugs but run by the best also. This will be our future destination whenever we want to buy more rugs.

Took a 30 plus year old hand knotted Pak Persian rug in to this business for repair. They took the time to educate me on how they would do the work and it turned out amazingly beautiful. Thank you so much! It’s perfect..again! Deborah Gattis

I want to share our most recent buying experience at Texas Oriental Rugs. We bought multiple rugs and were very pleased. The sheer availability of inventory and the variety of sizes and designs we found were only matched by the friendliness of the owner, Saeed (aka Tony) who was not only knowledgeable to our needs but was as understanding and helpful and accommodating as he could be. If you’re going to look for a true Persian rug at the best possible price, I would look nowhere other than Texas Oriental Rugs on Fondren near the corner of Westheimer. I promise you will not be disappointed.

We have bought rugs from Saeed over 20 years. He is extremely helpful and provides wonderful service. The rugs are true works of art and very special. Highest recommendations.

The owner is so nice and friendly and really knows what will work for you when it comes to rugs. I purchased 3 small rugs and love them all. Even had him clean a rug for me and it came out amazing! Definitely will be back for more rugs.
