FAQ:
"The wait is long. Always always make an appointment online prior to going unless you have time to kill. Some ladies there are truly helpful and pleasant while at least one is super gruff, no personality, and is not helpful at all. Pack your patience when you go. Oh and it's cash business, so bring cash."
"My wife made me an appointment and I was able to get in and out in minutes. The lady clerk was nice and knowledgeable of her job."
"Absolutely ridiculous that you go to a place to get a title transfer. And they route you to another office saying you made an appointment there. And then they tell you oh we don’t do that here this office does it at the other location where we we were. This office is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to serving people as far is the wait time and even if he made an appointment. The lobby was full and everybody was standing. you need to post on your website what offices does what so you don’t go and then are frustrated that you have to go back somewhere else. It’s all about customer service! Get it together Texas DMV!"
"Even with an appointment this was a nightmare. I made an appointment online and got to the DMV. The lack of clear signage inside is terrible. The email I received said to check in virtually, but there was a kiosk there which seemed to be the place to check in. I checked in at the kiosk, but it didn't give me a number. I waited about minutes to be called (I assumed that since I had an appointment with my name and phone number attached that I would be texted my ticket number, like the email had told me I would) and then approached the desk to see how much longer the wait would be. She then told me I should have gotten a physical number and directed me back to the kiosk. After trying several times I realized the kiosk was not working properly. (Kept giving error messages, beeping to indicate input but not showing anything input on the screen, would revert back to the home screen) I went back and told the lady at the window and she told me it had already been reported and that I was the 4th person that day who had had that problem. She said all I could do is take a number and get in line! So I had already been there for about minutes, on a lunch hour, waiting, just to be told I had to get at the end of the line. How hard would it be to put a sign up on the kiosk so people knew it was having issues?!? If I was the 1st person to report the problem that would be one thing - but how do you leave your check-in stations with malfunctions and not put up a sign?!! To add insult to injury, when I finally got to the front of the line I was told that my vehicle still showed a lien and I had to come back with some paperwork filled out to get my title. I asked if there was any way I could have checked this ahead of time so I could've been prepared and was told that there wasn't. So it took me minutes, WITH an appointment, to be told I had to come BACK because I needed something I had no way of knowing before I got there! The DMV is broken in general, but this place is extra janky."
"New location is clean and efficient. I made an appointment but was late because I didn't know they had moved here and I still was through the line, finished and on my way in minutes."
