Here are some reviews from our users.
"Went downhill. Terrible management. Non Japanese service. If you want to order yakitori, it's a set ($) for each person at table even if the others don't want to eat yakitori. I think the owner/chef just wants to call it quits."
"Good food but very pricy, sushi prices are per piece (my fault to assume 2 pieces per order as in most sushi restaurants), for example scallop sashimi in the photo costs $, thin slices. Scallop sushi is $ per. Great but nothing special. Yakitori set is $ which gives you 6 skewers, chef’s choice, but everyone at the table has to order a set. Chicken thigh Yakitori (Momo) is under cooked in the middle, when I asked we were told it’s usually served medium, I mean it’s probably just a lack of knowledge on my part but I’ve never had chicken yakitori served less than fully cooked even in Japan, unless it specifically says Chicken Sashimi. The other skewers are fine. Spent $ for 2. didn’t have time to order dessert. We were not full at all and went across the street for more food. The service and atmosphere were excellent. We won’t be going back."
"Disappointed. Went for a celebration but this was not a good dining experience. Overpriced and dinner took 2 hours to complete since there is only one chef. Restaurant was practically empty on a Friday night but it still took that long. Food was okay (reason for 2 stars or else I’d leave 1) but not worth the bill we paid. We will not be going back. So many other great dining experiences available in DFW area now that offer great food and better service."
"The most fake Japanese place I've ever been. The whole place is fraud. None of nigiri and sashimi is within Japanese standard, and yakitori they serve is not remotely resembles what people eat in Japan. I almost throw up ingesting the chicken heart yakitori. This place is not only disgusting but also in violation of many county food regulations. We should all report this place."
"Small shop but with amazing authenticity and atmosphere. Excellent service and amazing sushi. They had a matcha green tea beer that paired really well with everything we ate."
