"I loved my tour of the Philly Italian Market with Chef Jacquie. She was so informative and engaging, I never felt like I was on a tour. Instead, I felt like I was strolling the historic Italian Market with a friend. The stores we went to were so welcoming and pleasant, and their products so tasty, I was compelled to buy so much of their products, LOL!! You'll love this tour."
"Definitely worth the price!! If you want to taste the food of South Philly and get a history lesson while doing so, this is the food tour you should take. Our tour guide Jacquie, who grew up in South Philly, was not only informative about the foods but also included the history associated with the restaurants and neighborhood. Walking to the different food locations reminded me of the Rocky movie where everyone in the neighborhoods knew Rocky. It was the same for Jacquie--it seemed like everyone knew her. A very enjoyable tour. One that I would take again."
"This tour was one of my favorite events on my first trip to Philadelphia. Jacquie is a wealth of knowledge about the Italian history in the city. Every stop was fun and interesting and some provided yummy snacks. I kept wanting to return to the Italian Village during my stay but could not find the time. Really enjoyed Jacquie and her tour."
"Our book club joined Chef Jacquie recently and had such a good time! We sampled Sicilian-style cannolis, some fantastic cheeses, olive oils and vinegars, handmade tortillas, chocolate truffles, Italian coffee... oh, and pizza too! Jacquie clearly loves her neighborhood and was delighted to share it with us. Would def recommend!"
"Jacquie offers a wonderful food tour and shares her wealth of knowledge about the local establishments and food trends in the area in an upbeat and exciting way. Our group thoroughly enjoyed sampling the delights and hearing the historical anecdotes from Jacquie as we made our way through the neighborhood. Highly recommend her tours!"
