"DO NOT BUY PARVO VACCINES HERE! My boyfriend came here to buy vaccines for me and was not told by standard feed and seed to keep them cold. When he arrived home ( mins drive) with the vaccines they were not cold or on ice. He informed me that no one told him about the temperature protocols, they just sold him the vaccines and asked about what kind of puppies we had. There was an occasion about 4 months ago when I bought puppy vaccines here and they also did not offer or at least tell me they needed to be iced, luckily I knew so I had to BUY a pound of their frozen dog food as an ice pack to keep them within the *-* F temperature range for the ride home. I contacted the distributor of the vaccine to explain what happened and asked if we should still use the vaccines. I was told that they never ever recommend using the vaccines even if they are within 2 degrees outside of that range. They did inform me that businesses who sell their vaccines must inform costumers of the temperature safety protocol for the product when it is sold. This did not happen, and my boyfriend actually told me the vaccines weren’t even cold when he received them (which I can’t attest for) but it’s likely that this store isn’t storing their vaccines properly in the first place. Called the store to ask if I could bring vaccines back and exchange or buy new ones for a discount at the very least. The owner was rude, argumentative and wasn’t seeking to resolve. He rudely told me he would not be helping me because he “knows” they’re still good after a min ride home. I’m a vet tech and am very familiar with vaccine protocols and this is incorrect. Don’t chance your pups getting Parvo, make the extra drive to tractor supply where they will explain how to safely use the product and even provide you with an ice pack to keep them cold!"
