Dr. Pineles is the best pediatric ophthalmologist on the west coast. She is not only wonderful with young patients, she is kind, centering, and highly professional with parents. If you have the opportunity to choose or get Dr. Pineles, you could not be in better medical hands.

Dr. Pineles is a wonderful doctor. She is knowledgable and takes the time to listen to any issues and answer questions accordingly. We were sent to her because there wasn't a vision specialist that could treat my granddaughter, in our area! We really got lucky with our insurance's choice of Dr. Pineles! Dr. Pineles found a genetic opthalmologist to due genetic testing and also got an ERG performed at another location so that we could get a diagnosis quicker! It turns out that my granddaughter has a rare retinal disorder that wouldn't have been diagnosed without these tests and we have Dr. Pineles to thank! I don't believe my "wonderful" above describes my opinion of Dr. Pineles, but I don't believe there are enough words to do so! Our family is so thankful she came into our lives!
