I didn't feel like I was being judged but like they cared more about kindness and preaching their faith and leading by good example than scaring people with fire and brimstone. The preacher even reached out to me via email later inviting me to come back. I can't describe it any other way than warm and the congregation feels genuinely open to all people, regardless of race, sexual identity or spiritual leanings. Acceptance is the best way to get people to keep coming back and I feel this church nailed it."
