"Praise the lord! Start Magdalene church gives me hope and feeds my spiritual appetite. It helps be to have greater faith in myself and the world. I was raised Roman Catholic and believe in the Bible and the ways of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen!"
"My home parish, love fr. Ed and fellow parishioners. Beautiful church"
"wonderful view. been coming here since I was born, my mother went here when she was little and my grandmother still attends mass here."
"We (my husband and I) love our parish. There is a true feeling of being a part of this church community. Father Ed, Father Bill and Deacon Ralph are wonderful. We can’t leave out Katie who is so willing to help answer question and give direction when needed. I’m so happy that someone knows church is essential during this pandemic."
"I have been going to this parish faithfully for years. When they transitioned from outdoor to indoor Masses, they said to bring your sweaters because the doors and windows would always be open, no matter the weather. Today, on the first cold weekend in months, I walked into Mass and ALL the doors and windows were shut. Yes, there were sporadic rain showers, but they could have at least opened the doors. Do people not understand that the lack of air movement indoors is directly related to getting Covid? Do people not know that the cases of Covid are on the rise? I know the restrictions are getting tiresome, but this is when people need to be more vigilant than ever. Needless to say I turned around and walked out. I’m very sad not to receive the Eucharist, but I couldn’t take the chance. I love my parish, but they are totally messing up on gatherings during the pandemic. This is not the first time I’ve had problems with the way the new pastor is handling outdoor or indoor gatherings. Just know before you go that you may decide you’ll be walking out."
