"Our deep freeze went out on a Saturday. I called around to many places that said they were open, but weren't. The few that answered wouldn't deliver until Monday. I was in a bad situation. My freezer was full. I finally got a hold of Southport Discount and they had exactly what I wanted and although their delivery people were off , they called them in for me . I had a nice freezer delivered within 2 hours . They went above and beyond for me. I would definitely recommend this place ."
"DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I bought all my appliance from them. My fridge came didn’t work ruined all the food I put in it. I had to hound them to replace it. They brought me a second fridge finally. This fridge was infested with cockroaches in the back. I had n exterminator come out they traced it to the back of the fridge where they found old roach eggs!!! I have an extremely clean home so my house isn’t infested but I’m paying for all the treatments to kill them. I’m so angry and disgusted. I paid good money and now I’m paying even more. As a single person who lives alone couldn’t afford new. Now I wish I would have. Do not make my mistake!!!! I’m so mad 😡"
"I have bought 2 dryers and a washer from here over the last years in the past had great customer service and great experience but today went in to buy another dryer after mine went out and the guy talked to me like a used car salesman...I said I needed just a regular nothing fancy electric dryer the response " well how much are you looking to spend" I said well how much do they run? And he again said well depends on how much you are looking to spend? Umm no thanks he then tells me $ as I'm leaving but I was already quoted $ from Twins appliances right down the street so decided against buying from southport this time around!"
"I remembered this place from when I used them years ago. They did not disappoint when I was in need. My kid's washer all the sudden started leaking while I was babysitting for a week. Called them up and they had just what I needed, delivered same day, and saved this grandma a lot of strain. Thanks again guys much appreciated!"
