Changing my review from 5 stars to 3 because Wednesday night used to be free cover, but now it's $10/ea to see local bands

Always a blast at this pirate bar with epic shows by local and touring bands. The sound, light, and drinks are great. Back patio is super cool too with an outdoor stage, bar, and games. You're guaranteed fun and an adventure with this place! (Photos of Akita, Charlotte-based funk rock band)

Long live Snug and the Familia! It is the living, breathing heart of Plaza-Midwood at this point. We sure had a lot of fun creating and hosting hip hop legends there over the years, and I hope we can do it again one day. Much love.

Just a cool spot! Love the vibe and the staff are great! Karaoke on Sunday is amazing with 2 different areas to choose from.
