"Out of all the BBQ places in San Antonio that I have tried (a lot) this is by far the best one! It is super flavorful meats, great sides, and not to expensive. This is now the only BBQ place that me and my husband will go to!"
"Came here with my husband. I'm vegan and he is not obviously. I thought I'd have a hard time finding #vegan options to eat but was pleasantly surprised! The cashier was really helpful and answered my questions about what was in each of the side dishes. Always great when waiters/nonkitchen employees actually know what's in the food! I got a side of seasoned fries, beans and a couple of dinner rolls. I would have ordered the fried okra but they sadly were out of it. I confirmed with the cashier that the beans do not have meat in them and the "vinegar coleslaw" does not have mayo in it but sadly it does have feta cheese so that was a no go. I topped the meal off with a Michelob Ultra beer and felt pretty satisfied! 😊 Vegans rejoice!"
"Outstanding BBQ, brisket was very juicy and tender. Great service. Coleslaw had more vinegar than I'm used to, but not bad. Sliced turkey had great flavor."
"It's good, but doesn't live up to the expectations set by other reviews here. We got the 2 meat plate with marbled brisket, ribs, mac, and collard greens. We also got the fried chicken with okra and fries. The best thing was the brisket, although you can get better in other parts of Texas. Ribs were a disappointment, they were not fall-off-the-bone tender. Fried chicken (or actually chicken tenders) had good flavor and was very moist, but the breading was very soggy. I would say temper your expectations and you'll be alright here."
"Absolutely delicious!! I had the brisket with mac & cheese, and fried okra. The brisket had amazing flavor and was super tender and juicy. You have the option to wash it all down with tea, lemonade, a variety of soft drinks and they also have a nice selection of beers. The staff was very friendly, and service was very fast. I had my order as soon as I was seated at my table. I highly recommend."
