"Terrible coordinator and staff! I called to confirm that a family member and I were not able to physically be at the funeral planning appointment but would be available through a conference call. Elizabeth, the director assured me that my sister and I would be called. I never received a call, nor did they call my sister. After waiting for 5 minutes I called and spoke with Leticia. I was put on hold for approximately 3 minutes. Leticia then returned and assured me someone would call, never happen"

"Funeral service is not up to par. 1) Chapel promised was given to someone else due to delay notification by funeral director to Admin to block off time and only provided back after strong complaining. 2) Unable to get video monitor to function at time of service and we have to do our own last minute hook up and only use 1 instead of 2 that's suppose to work but missing connection hardware. 3) Was promised a floral arrangement to be placed on our Mother's gravesite after we complained about the services to the General Manager but was not fulfilled. 4) 8 Months waiting for a headstone and still waiting. Overall, they are very courteous and quick to take your money but has no process or attention to details when it comes to providing what they sold you. Very unfortunate because the Memorial Park deserved a 5 Stars but their funeral service deserved none!"

"Quite a spectacular place. The resting place for souls with an incredible view and feel of etnernal bliss. Hilly, serene, well kept, a slice of heaven. Always come to show your respects. Views of the surrounding San Mateo area and the ocean and tree's to the West. 5 Stars."

"The Funeral Staff at Skylawn memorial park took great care in providing excellent service for the cremation service for my family member. They were professional, helpful and accommodating during our time of mourning. Because this was an unexpected passing we were able to contact this team and they were able to schedule our service on a date we requested due to our religious and cultural beliefs. During the service we were also giving wise and kind words that matched our loved one as though they had met. It was comforting to be able to have such a great experience during a time of grief. I would like to give a special thanks to Endeliza, Eva, Fiona and the Skylawn Staff."

"We recently used Skylawn Funeral Services and where disappointed with the service we got from Nature one of the advisors. She claimed to be one of the top advisors there but it didn't reflect on the service she offered our family. We got from her bad communication, horrible customer service, gave us wrong prices for several items, and most importantly she never gave us our beloved family members ashes when we were told. It's so hard when you get treated like this in hard moments. Hope someone at Skylawn Funeral Home really look at situations like this because it has caused more headaches than what we need. In the past we have dealt with Skylawn Funeral Services and never had problems. Not sure if I would recommend anyone."
